摘要: A battery electrolyte solution contains from 0.01 to 80% by weight of an aromatic phosphorus compound. The aromatic phosphorus compound provides increased thermal stability for the electrolyte, helping to reduce thermal degradation, thermal runaway reactions and the possibility of burning. The aromatic phosphorus compound has little adverse impact on the electrical properties of the battery, and in some cases actually improves battery performance.

摘要: A battery electrolyte solution contains from 0.001 to 20% by weight of certain phosphorus-sulfur compounds. The phosphorus-sulfur compound performs effectively as a solid-electrolyte interphase (SEI) forming material. The phosphorus-sulfur compound has little adverse impact on the electrical properties of the battery, and in some cases actually improves battery performance. Batteries containing the electrolyte solution form robust and stable SEIs even when charged at high rates during initial formation cycles.

摘要: This invention is a composition comprising (a) an oligomer or polymer dispersible in an organic solvent, having a low dielectric constant, or being curable to form a material having a low dielectric constant, (b) at least one organic solvent and (c) less than 1000 parts by weight of a polymeric coating additive per million parts by weight of total composition (ppm). The polymeric additive is characterized in that it is miscible with component (a) and the solvent system but becomes incompatible with the mixture of component (a) and solvent during the coating process.
