摘要: A radar device is configured to transmit an electric wave and receives a reflected wave that is generated by a reflection of the electric wave on an object, and to recognize the object is a potential obstacle that is to be hit by the vehicle when a received intensity of the reflected wave thereby is a specified threshold or more. And, the specified threshold has a plurality of preset values. Accordingly, a determination as to whether or not the obstacle detected by the radar device is the potential obstacle to be hit by the vehicle can be accurately made.

摘要: A millimeter-wave radar (obstacle detecting device) detects an obstacle in front of a traveling vehicle. A driving-state detecting device detects a specified driving state of the vehicle. An operation-timing changing device changes an operation timing of operational devices according to detection results of the driving-state detecting device. A control unit (operation control device) operates the operational devices (warning device, brake device, seatbelt pre-tensioner) at the above operation timing. Thus, the safe and smooth vehicle driving can be attained without an improper detection of the obstacle.

摘要: The strength of an instrument panel member (12) at a portion thereof between a steering shaft support part (16) and a linking part (13) on the side near a steering shaft (11) is set lower than the strength of the instrument panel member (12) at a portion thereof between the steering shaft support part (16) and a linking part (14) on the far side from the steering shaft (11), with respect to a load input through the linking part (13) on the side near the steering shaft (11) in the vehicle body front-rear direction. The above configuration makes it possible to suppress movement of a steering wheel inward in the vehicle width direction to thereby securely restrain a vehicle occupant by an airbag at the time of a vehicle frontal collision.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to effectively ensure the rigidity of supporting a front suspension with a simple configuration, without increasing the weight of a vehicle body.In a suspension mounting structure for a vehicle in which a front suspension is supported by sub frames 3, the sub frames 3 have a pair of right and left side sub frames 9 that extend in a front-rear direction of a vehicle in lower parts of front side frames 2; and a rear sub cross member 11 that couples rear end parts of the right and left side frames 9 to each other. Rear parts of the sub frames 9 are provided with: lower arm supporting parts for swingably and elastically displaceably supporting lower arms 41 of the front suspension; first fixing parts 31 that rigidly bond a rear end part of the rear sub cross member 11 to a bottom surface of a vehicle body; and second fixing parts 40 that rigidly bond side end parts of the rear sub cross member 11 to the bottom surface of the vehicle body at positions that are offset outward from the first fixing parts 31 in a vehicle width direction.

摘要: Part of a front side frame is configured to be deformed so as to bend outwardly, in a vehicle width direction, by a collision load in a vehicle frontal collision. A sub frame provided at a lower portion of a front vehicle body is joined to the front side frame via a reinforcement. A front portion of the reinforcement is located at a position which corresponds to a bending portion of the front side frame which is to be deformed so as to bend outwardly, in the vehicle width direction, by the collision load in the vehicle frontal collision. Accordingly, the bending of the front side frame at its bending portion when the collision load acts in the vehicle frontal collision can be promoted, so that the collision load against passengers can be decreased securely.

摘要: A gate array device includes a plurality of basic cell regions spaced apart from one another to thereby define a plurality of intermediate regions therebetween. Each intermediate region may serve either as a memory or function cell region or as an interconnection region at least partly. The memory cell region may be selectively defined as a ROM or a RAM by metallization. A test mode or a normal operating mode may be set selectively in accordance with a control signal. When the normal operating mode is set, an input terminal is operatively connected to a memory circuit through a logic circuit; whereas, when the test mode is set, the input terminal is directly connected to the memory circuit while bypassing the logic circuit. Also provided is a memory cell structure which can be defined as a RAM memory cell or as a ROM memory cell storing a selected binary data by metallization.

摘要: In a lower vehicle-body structure of a vehicle, there is provided a rear connecting member swingably supporting a rear portion of a lower arm at a sub frame and a front side frame, the rear connecting member comprising a support portion to support the lower arm, a fifth connection portion to connect the sub frame and the support portion, and a fourth connection portion to connect the front side frame and the support portion. Further, there is provided a separation mechanism to separate the fourth connection portion off the front side frame in the vehicle frontal collision. Accordingly, the sub frame and the lower arm are separated off the front side frame by the separation mechanism.
