A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may have multiple antenna panels which may be capable of different modes of operation, such as simultaneous DL/DL (S-DD), simultaneous UL/UL (S-UU) and simultaneous DL/UL (S-DU). Further, the WTRU may use each panel independently to communicate with multiple transmission and receive points simultaneously. The WTRU may accomplish this using transmission control indicators, reference signals, monitoring techniques suitable for multiple transmission and reception point communication.

摘要: Methods for resource efficient data transmission are described herein. A method may comprise operating in one of an idle or an inactive mode and transmitting, in response to a random access (RA) message or a configured grant (CG), a small data transmission over an uplink channel. The RA message may be received in a two-step RA procedure or a four-step RA procedure. The method may further comprise transitioning from the idle or the inactive mode to a connected mode. The method may further comprise determining resources for transmitting the small data transmission. The method may comprise determining whether the small data transmission was successfully received and retransmitting, on a condition the small data transmission was not received, the small data transmission. The method may further comprise segmenting a small data packet into a plurality of small data packets and transmitting the small data packets in a plurality of transmission opportunities.

The method includes determining common parameters like a target receive power, a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) specific offset, and a transmit power control (TPC) command parameters common to the multiple beams. he method also includes determining beam-specific parameters like path loss for each beam, a configurable fractional power compensation factor for each beam, and a configurable maximum transmit power level of the each beam, wherein the fractional power compensation factor and the configurable maximum transmit power level for the each beam are determined dynamically or semi-statically based on at least deployment, WTRU mobility, or interference level.

For example, the WTRU may transmit the SRS power imbalance information indicating, for at least one SRS resource set associated with the at least one xTyR antenna configuration, (i) one or more impacted SRS resources in the at least one SRS resource set and (ii) one or more power imbalance values for the one or more impacted SRS resources.

摘要: A method of communicating using proximity services (ProSe) is disclosed. A base station receives at least one aggregate maximum bit rate (AMBR) parameter from a network entity. The at least one AMBR parameter comprises a maximum bit rate that a first wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) can use for data sent on one or more ProSe bearers. The base station receives a request from the first WTRU to establish the one or more ProSe bearers with a second WTRU. The request comprises priority information of the one or more ProSe bearers determined by the first WTRU. The base station sends an indication to the first WTRU to establish a ProSe communication over the one or more ProSe bearers based on at least the AMBR parameter and the priority information of the one or more ProSe bearers.
