    Abstract: A sensor device is provided and includes electrodes each including first parts and a second part connected to the first parts, the first parts each extending in a first direction, the second part extending in a second direction different from the first direction; and a lead line including a third part connected to the second part and a fourth part connected to the third part, the third part extending in the first direction, the fourth part extending in a third direction different from the first direction, wherein the electrodes are arranged in the second direction, the second part is located between the lead line and the first parts, and the third part is located between the second part and the fourth part.

    Abstract: An operation support device supports input operations on a coordinate input device configured to detect change in electrostatic capacitance. The operation support device includes a main shaft support member placed on the coordinate input device, an operation member, a support plate, a first rotating plate, and a first member. When, in conjunction with the operation member, a state in which the support plate and the first rotating plate make contact with each other changes to a state in which the support plate and the first rotating plate are separated from each other, difference between a distance from an end portion of the first member to the coordinate input device and a distance from a detection end portion of the second member to the coordinate input device decreases.

    Abstract: An LCD includes a liquid crystal panel having a TFT substrate, a CF substrate, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the two substrates; a TFT ambient light photosensor having a semiconductor layer for detecting external light; a photodetector unit having a capacitor in which a predetermined reference voltage is charged and a voltage charged by leakage current of the TFT ambient light photosensor is lowered; and an ambient light photosensor reader unit for reading a voltage charged in the capacitor for a predetermined read period. The photodetector unit is disposed on a first surface of the TFT substrate that is in contact with the liquid crystal layer, and the surface of the photodetector unit except for the semiconductor layer and its periphery is covered by a light-shielding layer. Malfunction or reduced sensitivity of an ambient light photosensor due to light from backlights is prevented with a simple structure.
