摘要: This method for locating at least one touch on a touch-sensitive surface of an object comprises the following steps: monitoring (100) of at least one touch by propagating (102), in the touch-sensitive surface of the object, elastic mechanical waves from at least one transmitting point of the object, and by detecting (104) said elastic mechanical waves in at least one reception point of the object, in order to obtain at least one sensed signal, and locating (200) at least one touch on the touch-sensitive surface of the object by comparing certain spectral characteristics of the sensed signal to a set of reference characteristics. The monitoring step (100) comprises measuring (104, 106) the sensed signal during a time interval (t3 ) starting during a transient phase of the propagation of the transmitted waves, for supplying, to said at least one reception point, information on radiation interfered with by said at least one touch.

摘要: A communication device comprises a single radio resource unit that is shared by a plurality of virtual modems (VMs), each uniquely associated with a single one of a plurality of SIM cards. Traffic related to the SIM cards are concurrently handled utilizing corresponding VMs. Available radio resource in the single radio resource unit are shared by the VMs based on corresponding VM states, namely, an active state, an idle state and a suspended state. VMs in an idle state concurrently monitor paging events and concurrently perform idle mode procedures such as location updating. VMs not related to an intended traffic are suspended. A VM related to the intended traffic is transitioned from an idle state to an active state to enable the communication for the intended traffic. Once the communication is complete, the suspended VMs are resumed to continue idle mode activities.

摘要: A telepresence system, a telepresence method, and a video collection device are disclosed. The telepresence system includes a video collection device, a video display device, an audio collection device, an audio player, and an audio and video communication device. The audio and video communication device transmits videos collected by the video collection device on a local end and audios collected by the audio collection device on the local end to a remote end through a network; the video display device and the audio player on the remote end play the images and audios respectively; and the video collection device is a panoramic camera. The technical solution under the present invention overcomes the poor effect of panoramic presence in the existing telepresence system, and improves the telepresence system in terms of depth presence, seamless display and eye contact.

摘要: Systems and methods are presented to support operation of a multiple subscriber identity module (SIM) device. A first SIM may perform a data transfer or voice call. During the first SIM's data transfer or voice call, transition times are identified to transition communication resources to a second SIM for use in performing a registration update communication with a network controller that supports the second SIM. The registration update communication may include a periodic location update, a periodic routing update, or a periodic tracking update. The multiple SIM device may identify the transition time by obtaining periodic registration timing information from the network controller, configuring a periodic registration timer based on the periodic registration timing information, and setting the transition time as an expiration time of the periodic registration timer.
