The backpack provides a container having a plurality of compartments, sleeves, and hard cases that enable segregated storage, back mounting, impact protection, and efficient access to baseball related sport equipment. The container comprises a front panel, a mount panel, and at least one sidewall that form a primary cavity. The primary cavity stores sport garments and balls. A front pouch joins with the front panel and provides segregated storage capacity. A top hard case stores a pair of glasses. A bottom hard case stores a sport glove. At least one sleeve stores and enables quick access to a sport stick. A latch member enables quick release latching of head protection equipment. A mounting member enables the container to be mounted on the back for portability. A handle provides a grip for carrying.

摘要： A quick access shroud at least partially encapsulates a sport glove and/or a ball for storage and portability, while enabling facilitated access to the glove and/or ball through two uniquely positioned fastening mechanisms. The shroud is formed in a general shape of the sport glove, such as a baseball glove. A first panel and a second panel join together at a perimeter region. A section of the perimeter region is not permanently fastened to enable passage of the glove and/or ball through a perimeter fastener. The first panel comprises a central portion that detachably attaches to a central region of the first panel. A hole forms in the first panel when the central portion is detached. The hole enables quick access to only the ball. A central fastener regulates passage through the hole. An oil may coat the inner surface of the panels to lubricate the glove.

摘要： Systems and methods for providing accelerated loading of operating system and application programs upon system boot or application launch. In one aspect, a method for providing accelerated loading of an operating system comprises the steps of: maintaining a list of boot data used for booting a computer system; preloading the boot data upon initialization of the computer system; and servicing requests for boot data from the computer system using the preloaded boot data. The boot data may comprise program code associated with an operating system of the computer system, an application program, and a combination thereof. In a preferred embodiment, the boot data is retrieved from a boot device and stored in a cache memory device. In another aspect, the method for accelerated loading of an operating system comprises updating the list of boot data during the boot process, wherein updating comprises adding to the list any boot data requested by the computer system not previously stored in the list and/or removing from the list any boot data previously stored in the list and not requested by the computer system. In yet another aspect, the boot data is stored in a compressed format on the boot device and the preloaded boot data is decompressed prior to transmitting the preloaded boot data to the requesting system. In another aspect, a method for providing accelerated launching of an application program comprises the steps of: maintaining a list of application data associated with an application program; preloading the application data upon launching the application program; and servicing requests for application data from a computer system using the preloaded application data.

摘要： A portable air compressor assembly includes a tubular frame having a pair of parallelogram shaped side sections. A support plate is connected between the side sections and horizontally positioned in a compressor normal operating position. A plurality of operating components connect to the support plate. A fluid pressure tank is supported perpendicular to the side sections and forward of the operating components. The frame envelopes the operating components' outer perimeter and angularly extends to a stop point rearward of the operating components. When tipped rearward to the stop point, the compressor assembly returns by gravity to the compressor normal operating position. An instrument and connector panel including an engine on/off switch is mounted in a protected position. Wheels and structural feet are removable and a handle is retractable and removable for shipping.

The air compressor package is positionable in an operational position, wherein the air compressor package is positioned on a base, and a transport position, wherein the air compressor package may be more readily transported. Positioning of the air compressor package into the transport position is accomplished by rotating the air compressor about a rotational axis that is generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the air tank. The air compressor package includes a protective stop configured to contact a support surface when the air compressor package is moved between the operating position and the transport position, thereby preventing slippage of the air compressor package away from the user.

Furthermore, the wheels and handle can be configured so that the assembly can be relatively easily located in a balanced transport position.
