Abstract: A tangible, non-transitory, machine-readable medium includes instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to determine an active operating condition of the heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system based on the active operating data related to the HVAC system, retrieve an existing service log having a maintenance procedure corresponding to the active operating condition of the HVAC system, and record an entry service log. The entry service log includes the active operating data, the active operating condition, and an updated version of the maintenance procedure corresponding to the active operating condition.

Abstract: A building controller for a building that includes a first zone and a second zone. The building controller includes a processing circuit configured to store zone modes for the building. The zone modes include zone activity modes each associated with an occupant activity within the zone and one or more environmental settings. The processing circuit is configured to receive an indication to operate the first zone in a first zone mode of the zone modes and an indication to operate the second zone in a second zone mode of the zone modes. The processing circuit is configured to operate one or more pieces of building equipment based on the first zone mode and operate the one or more pieces of building equipment based on the second zone mode.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a zoning system for climate control including a controller configured to operate the zoning system to supply conditioned air to a first zone of a plurality of zones through a first supply air damper to thermally charge the first zone. The controller is also configured to close the first supply air damper of the first zone and open a second supply air damper of a second zone of the plurality of zones after the first zone is thermally charged. The controller is further configured to operate the zoning system to draw the conditioned air from the first zone and supply the conditioned air to the second zone through the second supply air damper.

Further, the zone control panel may use the electronic display to reproduce user interfaces from the equipment and/or the devices. Abstract: The present disclosure includes a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system having a control system suitable to control operation of a device in the HVAC system. The control system may include a zone control panel that may control operation of the device using power-line communication. Accordingly, the zone control panel and the device may be both communicatively and electrically coupled via one or more power lines. To that end, the zone control panel may determine a primary address identifying the device and/or a secondary address indicating the one or more power lines electrically coupled to the device. Further, the zone control panel may communicate with and/or coordinate operation of the device by transmitting data messages to the device via the one or more power lines based on the primary address and/or the secondary address.

Abstract: A control system of a heat, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. In some embodiments, the HVAC system includes an electronic display configured to concurrently display a plurality of zone icons that indicate a current setpoint mode corresponding to a plurality of building zones, wherein the current setpoint mode comprises a home setpoint mode and an away setpoint mode. Additionally, the HVAC system may include a control circuitry communicatively coupled to the electronic display. The control circuitry may be configured to toggle the current setpoint mode associated with the plurality of building zones between the home setpoint mode and the away setpoint mode based on a received user input. Abstract: A system for performing software updates for building devices of a building includes a thermostat associated with one of multiple zones of the building and a controller. The controller includes a processing circuit configured to store thermostat software in a memory device of the processing circuit, the stored software being software for the thermostat and determine, by communicating with the thermostat, whether thermostat software run on the thermostat is newer or older than the thermostat software stored in the memory device. The processing circuit is configured to update the thermostat software run on the thermostat with the thermostat software stored in the memory device in response to a determination that the thermostat software run on the thermostat is older than the thermostat software stored in the memory device and operate building equipment to control an environmental condition of the building.
