摘要: Described is a system and method by which an application program is evaluated for trustworthiness based on the permissions and/or privileges it requests relative to a program category. The program describes the permissions needed to operate, and identifies itself as belonging to a particular category. Security components compare the requested permission set against the permissions that programs of that category actually need in order to operate properly. Programs requesting more permissions than needed are deemed untrustworthy. For example, screen saver application programs need only a limited permission set to operate properly, including full screen access and the ability to read files, but do not need network access permissions or write access to files. Any screensaver application that requests only the needed permission set is deemed trustworthy, while others that request permissions beyond what is actually needed are not deemed trustworthy, and a user or automated policy process may then intervene.

摘要: The present invention provides structured surfactant systems comprising water and from 0 to saturation of sugar, together with sufficient surfactant to form a structure capable of suspending solids, wherein the surfactant comprises a mixture of: (i) a major portion of at least one sugar ester and/or a triterpenoid glycoside (saponin) having an HLB greater than 10; and (ii) a minor portion of at least one fatty acid and/or lecithin. The invention further provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising a structured surfactant system of the invention and a pharmaceutical or veterinary active ingredient.

摘要: Personal recommendations are provided to users based on a relationship between place listings which with a user has interacted and collections of place listings. The user may interact with a place listing by reviewing the place, or accessing a web page that includes user-reviewed places. The collections of place listings are used to calculate a recommendation score for a candidate listing based on aggregate co-occurrence of the place listing and the candidate listing in the collections. The recommendation scores identify a probability that the user would appreciate the candidate listing based on the user's interaction with the place listing. Justifications may also be provided for display on the user's device to identify the relevance of the recommended listing.

摘要: Television reporting records are accessed and processed to generate frequency specific reach values and device frequencies for creatives (e.g., television advertisements). The device frequencies indicating the number of times a creative was presented by use of a particular viewing device. The frequency specific reach values indicating the number of unique viewing devices that were used to present the creative a specified number of times. Estimating frequency specific reach values and device frequencies for a creative for a viewing population. The estimated frequency specific reach values and device frequencies for the viewing population are based on known viewing pattern data for multiple creative airings from a sample of the viewing population (e.g., a subset of the viewing population) and estimated viewing pattern data for the airings for the viewing population.

摘要: A conveyor belt construction is disclosed comprising at least two layers of carded nonwoven material that are needled together to form the carcass. A first layer of nonwoven material is carded so that a substantial portion of the staple fibers are oriented in a first direction. The second layer of nonwoven material is carded so that a substantial portion of the staple fibers are oriented in a second direction, which is substantially perpendicular to the first direction. The two layers of material are then layered on each other and needled together to form a dual layer belt carcass. The carcass is then impregnated with an elastomer such as polyvinyl chloride. The strength of the belt in the longitudinal and transverse directions may be adjusted by adjusting the weight ratio of the nonwoven layers. A method for manufacturing the multi-layer nonwoven belt is also disclosed.
