    摘要: A composition with high impact resistance and little fish eyes content, comprising 97 to 60 parts by weight of a polyvinyl chloride-base resin and 3 to 40 parts by weight of a graft copolymer obtained by the three-stage graft-polymerization of 65 to 25 parts by weight of a monomer combination (B) comprising 12 to 57% by weight of methyl methacrylate, 1 to 24% by weight of at least one of alkyl acrylates having a C.sub.1-8 -alkyl group, 80 to 40% by weight of styrene and 0 to 3% by weight of a polyfunctional crosslinking agent having one or more alkyl groups in the molecule onto 35 to 75 parts by weight of a butadiene-base elastomer (A) containing 30% by weight or more of 1,3-butadiene units, said three-stage graft polymerization being carried out in the following way: at first at least one member selected from the group consisting of electrolytes and carboxyl-containing polymer latices is added to the reaction system; then in the first stage monomer mixture consisting of major amount of methyl methacrylate and minor amount of an alkyl acrylate or acrylates, which has a proportion of 50 to 90% by weight based on total weight of methyl methacrylate and alkyl acrylate or acrylates, and, if included in said monomer combination, a polyfunctional crosslinking agent are graft-polymerized; in the second stage, styrene is graft-polymerized; and in the third stage, the remaining 10 to 50% by weight of methyl methacrylate and an alkyl acrylate or acrylates are graft-polymerized.

C. or below, the glass transition temperature of the polymer composing the second layer (B) from the outermost layer (A) is 60.degree. C. or above and the glass transition temperature of the polymer composing the third layer (C) from the outermost layer (A) is 0.degree. C. or below, each of the layers containing a polyfunctional crosslinking agent in an amount of 0 to 5% by weight based on the weight of the layer, and 0.1 to 20 parts by weight of a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing 3 to 30% by weight of an unsaturated acid monomer and 97 to 70% by weight of a vinyl monomer copolymerizable therewith, and a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent impact resistance and molding workability comprising 3 to 50 parts by weight of the modifier set forth above and 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin.

    摘要: Disclosed is a non-rigid vinyl chloride polymer composition comprising 100 weight parts of a vinyl chloride polymer resin, 5-50 weight parts of a graft copolymer modifier and 10-300 weight parts of a plasticizer. The graft copolymer modifier is obtained by graft-polymerizing 25-150 weight parts of an alkyl ester of methacrylic acid having 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl group or a monomer mixture composed of at least more than 50% by weight of said alkyl ester of methacrylic acid onto 100 weight parts of an acrylic elastomer having a swelling degree of 5 to 25 so that the grafting ratio is not larger than 50%. The acrylic elastomer is obtained by polymerizing a mixture comprising an alkyl ester of acrylic acid having 2 to 10 carbon atoms in the alkyl group or a monomer mixture composed of at least 50% by weight of said alkyl ester of acrylic acid, and a polyfunctional crosslinking agent. The non-rigid vinyl chloride polymer composition has excellent weatherability and impact resistance, and exhibits a good molding processability.

    摘要: Disclosed is a vinyl chloride polymer composition comprising:(i) 100 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride polymer containing at least 80 wt. % of vinyl chloride units, and(ii) 0.05 to 25 wt. parts of a three-stage polymer (II), which is obtained by polymerizing 10 to 30 wt. parts of at least one monomer (B), which is selected from acrylic acid esters, methacrylic acid esters, aromatic vinyl compounds, cyano-vinyl compounds and vinyl ester compounds so that the glass transition temperature of a polymer obtained by separately polymerizing the monomer (B) is 0.degree. to 60.degree. C., in the presence of 45 to 85 wt. parts of a methyl methacrylate polymer (A) containing at least 80 wt. % of methyl methacrylate units; and then polymerizing 5 to 25 wt. parts of a methyl methacrylate monomer or monomer mixture (C) containing at least 80 wt. % of methyl methacrylate in the presence of the obtained copolymer comprising the components (A) and (B) so that the total amount of the components (A), (B), and (C) is 100 wt. parts. The vinyl chloride polymer composition is advantageous in that the gelation speed is high, the parting property at the calendering step is good, adhesion to the vessel wall is not caused at the blending step before the processing, the processability is excellent, and the composition gives a molded articles having a good transparency and a good surface condition.

    摘要: Disclosed is a lubricant for thermoplastic resins, which is prepared by (A) polymerizing 60-100 wt. % of an aromatic vinyl monomer and 0-40 wt. % of other vinyl monomer copolymerizable therewith to form a polymer, (B) polymerizing 30-70 wt. parts of a monomer or monomer mixture comprising 50-100 wt. % of an acrylic acid ester and 0-50 wt. % of other vinyl monomer or monomers copolymerizable therewith in the presence of 10-60 wt. parts of said polymer so that when said monomer or monomer mixture is singly polymerized, the reduced viscosity of the resulting polymer is lower than 1.0, to obtain a polymer, and (C) polymerizing 5-30 wt. parts of a methacrylic acid ester in the presence of the two-stage polymer obtained at the steps (A) and (B) so that the total amount of the components (A), (B) and (C) is 100 wt. parts. A thermoplastic resin composition comprising this lubricant has an excellent mold release characteristics and lubricating property at the molding step, and a molded article prepared from the composition has a good gloss.
