    摘要: An image processing method for detecting an object from an input image using a template image, including inputting a specified image with respect to both a template image and an input image, calculating an edge normal direction vector of said specified image, generating an evaluation vector from said edge normal direction vector, subjecting the evaluation vector to orthogonal transformation, a step of performing a product sum calculation of corresponding spectral data with respect to each evaluation vector that has been subjected to orthogonal transformation and has been obtained for each of said template image and said input image, and a step of subjecting it to inverse orthogonal transformation and generating a similarity value map. The formula of the similarity value, the orthogonal transformation, and the inverse orthogonal transformation each have linearity. The pattern recognition is one in which the component of the similarity value is not subjected to positive/negative reversal through variations in brightness of the background.

    摘要: In a sliding structure in which a shaft member is retained slidably in a guide hole, the lack of an oil film caused by the edge contact of the shaft member to which a pressing load in the axial direction is applied is prevented. With the fact being taken into account that end portions 25c1 and 25c2, which are always in slidable contact with a side surface 1232a of a guide hole 1232, of a side surface 25c of a shaft member 251 are the partial edge portion, a plurality of labyrinth grooves 2501 and 2502 are formed in the end portions 25c1 and 25c2, respectively, thereby it is possible for an oil film to cover the entire contact portion without increasing the groove width extremely. Because the groove width is not increased extremely, the length of the sliding portions can be ensured.

    摘要: A cylinder body includes a cylinder hole and a discharge flow passage. The cylinder hole receives a plunger and forms a pressurizing chamber in one axial end portion thereof. The discharge flow passage is connected to the pressurizing chamber and is adapted to guide and discharge the pressurized fuel from the pressurizing chamber to an outside of the housing. A connection opening of the discharge flow passage is formed in a hole wall of the cylinder hole. A pressure is applied to a predetermined prestressing subject area in the hole wall of the cylinder hole and a passage wall of the discharge flow passage through autofrettage to generate a residual compression stress in the predetermined prestressing subject area and thereby to form a prestressed area of a final product. The prestressing subject area includes an inner peripheral edge of the connection opening.

    摘要: A nozzle needle of a fuel injector is driven in a controlled manner by changing back pressure applied thereto. The back pressure is controlled by a pressure control valve driven by stacked piezoelectric elements. A valve body of the pressure control valve is disposed in a valve chamber having a drain port and a high pressure port which are selectively closed. A diameter D1 of a drain seat, a diameter D2 of a high pressure seat, and a diameter D3 of a piston portion connected to the valve body are set to satisfy a relation: D1≧D2≧D3. In this manner, operation of the pressure control valve is stabilized, and thereby the fuel injector is smoothly and stably operated.

    摘要: An information processor, which manages operational history data or status data to revert an application back to any desired point in the past or make use of the past operations, includes an interface screen having cards thereon, as objects, that are manipulated by a user so as to make use of history. Contents of the history are represented while the order of the cards, placed one upon another, is associated with the time series of the history. A card representation is provided on the screen presented by the application to the user at any point in a past or to provide a card representation defined by images which alternately display screen representations before and after a change in the application screen by the operation performed by the user at any point in the past, while the before-change and after-change representations are displayed for different periods of time. A tag provided to the card is incorporated in the interface screen and objects of stacks, where a bundle of cards arranged according to the time series of the card history is placed and to which instructions as to a user's operation performed on the card bundle are inputted, are incorporated on the user's interface screen. The stack cooperates with the application by letting the application execute an operational history corresponding to a card sequence on the stack and letting the results be represented on the cards; and the card sequence is inserted into the stack in conjunction with the application; thereby, letting the application execute the operational history.
