Abstract:
A supercritical refrigeration cycle apparatus and a method for controlling a supercritical refrigeration cycle apparatus are provided. The supercritical refrigeration cycle apparatus may include a compressor; a gas cooler configured to cool the compressed a refrigerant in a supercritical state; a pressure control electronic expansion valve connected to the gas cooler; a receiver configured to temporarily store the refrigerant; a flow control electronic expansion valve connected to an outlet side of the receiver to control a flow rate of the refrigerant; and a controller configured to control the flow control electronic expansion valve based on a suction superheat degree of refrigerant suctioned into the compressor and a target suction superheat degree, and control the pressure control electronic expansion valve based on a target operation high pressure and a current operation high pressure. In this way, flow control and pressure control of refrigerant may be respectively implemented in a separate manner, thereby enhancing reliability and operation efficiency of the compressor, respectively.

A scroll compressor and an air conditioner including a scroll compressor are provided. The scroll compressor may include a casing, a fixed scroll, an orbiting scroll, and an injection passage. The fixed scroll may further include a first injection hole and a second injection hole formed on a spiral flow passage, and a third injection hole and a fourth injection hole formed on the spiral flow passage at a position inwardly rotated by about 360 degrees from the first injection hole and the second injection hole along the spiral flow passage. The first injection hole and the third injection hole may be formed on an outer lane of the spiral flow passage, and the second injection hole and the fourth injection hole may be formed on an inner lane of the spiral flow passage.

The air conditioner includes a compressor having a suction unit and a plurality of injection inlets, an inside heat exchanger into which refrigerant compressed in the compressor is introduced during a heating operation, an outside heat exchanger into which refrigerant compressed in the compressor is introduced during a cooling operation, a plurality of refrigerant separation devices through which refrigerant condensed in the inside heat exchanger or the outside heat exchanger pass, a plurality of injection flow paths which extends from the three refrigerant separation devices to the plurality of injection inlets, and a bypass flow path which extends from any one injection flow path among the plurality of injection flow paths to the suction unit of the compressor.

The air conditioner includes first and second compressors capable of performing multi-stage compression, a condenser for condensing a refrigerant compressed in the first and second compressors, a refrigerant separation device for separating the refrigerant to be injected to the first or second compressor of the refrigerant condensed in the condenser, injection tubes extending from the refrigerant separation device to the first and second compressors to guide injection of the refrigerant, a main expansion device disposed at an outlet-side of the refrigerant separation device to decompress the refrigerant, an evaporator for evaporating the refrigerant decompressed in the main expansion device, a valve device disposed at an outlet-side of the first compressor to guide the refrigerant compressed in the first compressor to the condenser or the second compressor, and a bypass tube extending from the valve device to an suction-side of the second compressor.

Provided are a scroll compressor and an air conditioner including the same. The scroll compressor includes a motor, a driving shaft, a main frame, a fixed scroll, an orbiting scroll, a suction, a first inflow part disposed on one side of the fixed scroll to inject the refrigerant into the compression chamber, and a second inflow part disposed on the other side of the fixed scroll to inject a refrigerant, which has a pressure different from that of the refrigerant introduced into the first inflow part, into the compression chamber. The first inflow part is disposed at a position at which a first extension line (l1) connecting a central portion of the fixed scroll to a central portion of the suction part rotates by a first preset angle in a direction opposite to the rotation direction of the compression chamber.

An air conditioner includes a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an indoor heat exchanger, a converting unit, a first injection module, and a second injection module. The first injection module injects a portion of refrigerant flowing from the indoor heat exchanger to the outdoor heat exchanger to the compressor in a heating operation and supercools refrigerant flowing from the outdoor heat exchanger to the indoor heat exchanger in a cooling operation. The second injection module injects a portion of refrigerant flowing from the indoor heat exchanger to the outdoor heat exchanger to the compressor in the heating operation and injects refrigerant flowing from the outdoor heat exchanger to the indoor heat exchanger to the compressor in the cooling operation.
