Abstract:
A clothes treating apparatus and a method for manufacturing a clothes treating apparatus are provided. The clothes treating apparatus may include a cabinet, a tub disposed in the cabinet, a drum rotatably accommodated in the tub, a support having a first side connected to a rear side of the tub and a second side that extends in a downward direction and then is bent in a upward direction, a damper having a lower end connected to a bottom surface of the cabinet, and a damper holder installed between the damper and the support, and configured to connect the damper to the support. The support may be disposed such that a height of a lowest end thereof is lower than a height of a coupling shaft of the damper coupled to the damper holder. With such a configuration, the damper may be easily coupled to the support regardless of a position of the lowest end of the support.
Abstract:
A washing machine includes a main body defining an outer appearance, a tub disposed within the main body, a main drum rotatably mounted in the tub, and a sub drum mounted in the main drum to be relatively rotatable with respect to the main drum. The washing machine includes an outer shaft for rotating the main drum, an inner shaft for rotating the sub drum, being disposed inside the outer shaft, and a driving motor having a stator, an outer rotor connected to the inner shaft and rotatable outside the stator, and an inner rotor connected to the outer shaft and rotatable inside the stator. The washing machine also includes a spring washer inserted into a connection part of the outer shaft and the inner rotor that attenuates vibrations of the outer shaft to prevent noise and to prevent separation of the outer shaft due to the vibrations.
Abstract:
A washing machine includes a driving motor having a stator, an outer rotor connected to the inner shaft and rotatable outside the stator, and an inner rotor connected to the outer shaft and rotatable inside the stator. Stator slots, which are fixedly-installed as a coil are wound on stator teeth. The outer rotor and the inner rotor include rotor teeth, a permanent magnet and a bushing, spaced from an inner circumference of the stator and rotates centering around a rotor shaft by magnetic force. The rotor teeth includes a teeth extension portion extending from a side end of an outer circumference of the rotor teeth in a circumferential direction, a cut recess cut in a concaved manner from the outer circumference of the rotor teeth toward the center of the rotor shaft, and an insertion recess cut in a concaved manner in a radial direction from an inner circumference of the rotor teeth.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a laundry machine having a drying function for drying an object to be dried, especially clothes. In the laundry machine according to one embodiment of the present invention, lint and the like that may be contained in the hot air are removed by the filter, whereby the lint and the like can be prevented from being piled on the duct. Also, the filter is placed in a way that it is exposed into the tub, whereby the filter can be cleaned automatically while it is being driven.
Abstract:
A clothes treating apparatus is provided. The clothes treating apparatus may include a drum having a locking tab formed by cutting a portion of an outer circumferential surface to be bendable inward towards an interior of the drum, and a balancer having a fastener that protrudes from the outer circumferential surface to hold the locking tab. The locking tab may be configured to be pushed inward towards the interior of the drum in order to be locked in the fastener and to restrict movement of the balancer in a forward or backward direction of the drum as the drum rotates.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a washing machine having a tub, a vibration sensor provided at the tub, a drum accommodating laundry therein and provided to be rotatable in the tub, and a controller configured to measure a value regarding multi-axis vibration occurring in the tub with the vibration sensor at a detection section in which the drum rotates at a specific rotational speed during a dewatering process, determine a predicted value of maximum vibration displacement expected to be generated in the tub based on the measured value, and determine whether to initialize the dewatering process at the detection section based on the determined predicted value of the maximum vibration displacement and a predetermined reference value.

Abstract:
Disclosed are a washing machine having a dual-drum of a main drum and a sub drum, and an assembly method thereof. The washing machine comprises: a cabinet; a tub provided in the cabinet; a main drum rotatably mounted in the tub; a sub drum mounted in the main drum so as to perform a relative rotation with the main drum; a hollow type outer shaft connected to the main drum; an inner shaft connected to the sub drum in the outer shaft; and a driving motor, wherein the driving motor comprises: a stator; an outer rotor connected to the inner shaft, and rotated outside the stator; and an inner rotor connected to the outer shaft, and rotated inside the stator, and wherein the driving motor drives the main drum and the sub drum in an independent manner.
Abstract:
A laundry treating apparatus may include a tub, a drum, a driving system including a bearing housing and a driving motor for rotating a rotation shaft of the drum, supporting devices extending between a lower surface of the cabinet and the bearing housing, and a plurality of dampers installed between the supporting devices and the lower surface of the cabinet. The plurality of dampers may include first dampers extending inward from a front portion of the supporting devices toward the lower surface of the cabinet, and second dampers extending downward from the supporting devices toward the rear side of the cabinet. This arrangement may prevent vibration generated during rotation of the drum from being transferred to the tub, and thus an additional component for reducing vibration of the tub may not be required. Thus, the laundry treating apparatus may have a larger capacity within a fixed size of cabinet.
