    Abstract: A rotary compressor is provided that may include a cylinder; a chamber eccentrically formed in the cylinder and accommodating a predetermined working fluid; a rotor rotatably received in the chamber and arranged so as to be concentric to the cylinder; first and second bearings disposed on upper and lower portions, respectively, of the cylinder so as to close the chamber, and which support a drive shaft of the rotor; a plurality of vanes movably installed on the rotor in a radial direction thereof, and protruding from the rotor up to an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder so as to divide the chamber into a plurality of compression spaces; first and second guide grooves which, in order to accommodate a portion of the vanes, are formed on respective surfaces, facing the chamber, of the first and second bearings so as to be concentric to the chamber, and guide the plurality of vanes while the rotor is rotating so that the plurality of vanes continuously protrude up to the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder; and an auxiliary bearing which is provided in at least one of the first guide groove or the second guide groove and rotating with the plurality of vanes.

    Abstract: A rotary compressor is provided that may include at least one vane that is slidably inserted into at least one vane slot provided in a roller or a cylinder so as to separate a compression space into a plurality of compression chambers. The at least one vane has an at least one oil supply groove formed in at least one of axial side surfaces, respectively, facing a main bearing and a sub bearing. The at least one oil supply groove may be longer in a longitudinal direction of the at least one vane than in a widthwise direction of the at least one vane. With this structure, it is possible to suppress friction loss and wear on a friction surface by supplying oil to the friction surface in contact with the at least one vane.

    Abstract: A rotary compressor may include a case, a cylinder, a roller, a vane, a main bearing and a sub bearing, and a discharge passage defined in the main bearing or the sub bearing to discharge refrigerant compressed in a compression space. The discharge passage may include at least one discharge hole formed through the main bearing or the sub bearing, and at least one discharge guide groove having a first end that communicates with the at least one discharge hole and a second end that extends from the at least one discharge hole toward a contact point between the cylinder and the roller and is recessed from one surface of the main bearing or the sub bearing forming the compression space. Accordingly, an amount of refrigerant remaining in the compression space even after a discharge stroke may be reduced.

    Abstract: A rotary compressor includes a cylinder, a drive unit, a piston, a vane, and an oil passage. The cylinder includes a suction chamber for suctioning fluid and a compression chamber for compressing fluid. The drive unit rotates a drive shaft by connecting to the cylinder. The piston oscillates in the cylinder by connecting to the drive shaft. The vane extends between the cylinder and the piston so as to separate the suction chamber from the compression chamber, and some parts of the length of the vane are inserted into a slide groove formed in the cylinder. One end of the vane is connected to the coupling groove formed in the piston. The oil passage is disposed between one end of the vane and the rolling piston so as to receive oil therethrough.

    Abstract: A rotary compressor provided that may include a casing, a cylinder, a roller, and at least one vane slidably inserted into the roller, and the roller may have at least one bypass passage through which spaces on both sides of a contact point based on a rotational direction of the roller communicate with each other. Through the at least one bypass passage, residual refrigerant remaining in a compression space even after a discharge stroke may be bypassed to a suction chamber, thereby minimizing the refrigerant remaining in the compression space after the discharge stroke. Also, loss due to overcompression in a residual space may be suppressed or prevented while reducing suction loss due to the introduction of overcompressed high-pressure refrigerant by the bypassing the refrigerant in the residual space toward a suction side in advance.
