Abstract: Provided is a cooking appliance. The cooking appliance includes a cavity assembly having a cooking chamber and a door that selectively opens or closes the cooking chamber. The cavity assembly includes a cavity including a plurality of plates defining a top surface, a bottom surface, and both side surfaces of the cooking chamber, wherein a first flange part is disposed on each of front end of the plurality of plates, and a front plate having an entrance opening through which food enters into the cooking chamber, the front plate including a second flange part. Abstract: The present invention relates to an impeller comprising: a shroud having a plurality of spiral upper slot units formed therein; a hub located to face the shroud; and a plurality of blades connected to the hub and inserted into the upper slot units to be coupled to the shroud, wherein the blade includes a body portion formed to be inclined to one side and an upper end portion, which is bent upward from the body portion and has a second concave surface formed in one side and a second convex surface formed on the other side thereof, and the upper slot unit includes an upper slot bottom for forming a space in which the upper end portion is inserted; an upper slot wall divided into a first upper slot wall located at the second concave surface side and a second upper slot wall located at the second convex surface side; and a second inclined surface formed to be inclined from the first upper slot wall so as to face the second concave surface. Thus, the impeller secures the assembling of the blades and has the effect of reducing the possibility of separation of the blades during the high-speed rotation of the impeller, which improves the structural rigidity of the impeller.

Abstract: A fan motor includes: a motor body; a rotary shaft assembly having a rotor and a bearing mounted on a rotary shaft; a stator that surrounds the rotor; an impeller connected to the rotary shaft; and a bracket including a bearing housing portion for receiving the bearing. The bearing housing portion defines a bearing heat dissipating flow path that allows air to be discharged to an outside of the bearing housing portion after passing between the outer surface of the bearing and the bearing housing portion. Air blown from the impeller can absorb heat of the bearing by contacting an outer surface of the bearing while passing through the bearing heat dissipating flow path.

Abstract: A fan motor includes: a motor housing; a rotating shaft; a rotor; a stator disposed outside the rotor; an impeller having at least one blade and a hub; and an impeller cover surrounding an outer circumference of the impeller and defining an air suction inlet. The impeller cover includes: a shroud having an inner diameter that expands in an air flow direction; and a non-metallic coating layer coated on an inner circumferential surface of the shroud and having a lower strength than the blade. The non-metallic coating layer includes: a first area having a first thickness; a second area having a second thickness thinner than the first thickness and defining a stepped portion with the first area, thereby minimizing leakage flow caused by the pressure difference from a pressure-side surface to a suction-side surface of the blade to reduce flow path loss and improving efficiency of the fan motor.
