摘要: A cathode foil for a solid electrolytic capacitor is designed to increase capacitance, reduce ESR and leakage current, enhance heat resistance, and reduce production costs, while enhancing a power density, realizing rapid charging-discharging, and improving a life property, in an electric energy storage element such as a secondary battery, an electric double layer capacitor and a hybrid capacitor. A cathode foil or a current collector may include a metal foil, a metal layer, a mixed layer containing carbon and a substance composing the metal layer in a mixed state, and a carbon layer consisting substantially of carbon, each formed on the metal foil. The mixed layer is configured to have a composition changing from a state containing substantially only the substance composing the metal layer to a state containing substantially only carbon, in a direction from the metal layer to the carbon layer.

摘要: A shock absorbing steering device for vehicle includes an intermediate shaft that couples a steering shaft and a steering gear. The intermediate shaft includes a hollow accordion portion allowed to undergo plastic deformation. The accordion portion has plural pairs of crest portions and trough portions disposed alternately in an axial direction. At least in a part of the accordion portion in the axial direction, a depth from apexes of the crest portions to bottoms of the trough portions includes a first depth corresponding to a part of the accordion portion in a circumferential direction and a second depth corresponding to a rest part of the accordion portion in the circumferential direction. The first depth and the second depth are different from each other.

摘要: An extendable shaft for steering vehicle rotated according to the steering of a steering member comprises: an inner shaft and a tubular outer shaft fitted with each other in a manner to be capable of relative sliding movement; a rigid coupling element for rigidly interconnecting the inner shaft and the outer shaft in a circumferential direction of the inner shaft when a relative phase of the inner shaft and the outer shaft with respect to the circumferential direction exceeds a predetermined range; at least three pairs of axial grooves individually formed on an outer periphery of the inner shaft and an inner periphery of the outer shaft and opposed to each other; and a plurality of elongate resin rods as elastic coupling elements for elastically interconnecting the inner shaft and the outer shaft in the circumferential direction when the relative phase thereof is in the predetermined range. Each of the plural resin rods is interposed between the mutually corresponding axial grooves. At least one of the resin rods has a different specification from that of the other resin rods in order that an axis of the inner shaft and an axis of the outer shaft are tilted to each other.

摘要: With a trend toward a higher intensity projection type liquid crystal display device to further increase brightness of a projection screen, rated input power of a light source lamp increases, which makes essential a fan apparatus for cooling the light source lamp, etc. Such a fan apparatus would require a light-shielding member which causes the number of parts to increase. The present invention provides a fan apparatus provided with a rotor section that can be rotated/driven around a predetermined rotation axis and a propeller section including propeller blades and attached to the rotor section arranged in such a way as to substantially shield light parallel to the rotation axis.

摘要: A bicycle front wheel control mechanism made up of a suspension system and a brake system. The suspension system has an eccentric retainer having an axle and two L-shaped members, and a shaft portion is carried by a housing through an elastic body at a perpendicularly upper part of the axle. The suspension system is so designed that it can rock relative to the front wheel around an axis of the shaft portion with an axial distance between the shaft portion and the axle as its radius, and the brake system is so designed that a side surface of a rim is made wide in a radial direction. By thus constructing the mechanism, the mechanism provides the following effects: (A) when the front wheel goes over a bump, shocks from the bottom and front can be moderated; (B) a rider can pedal a bicycle with his full strength on a flat road surface; (C) a part of the running energy exerted by a rider is not consumed by the suspension system; (D) locking of the wheel at the time of braking can be prevented; and (E) the mechanism is simple in its structure and requires no special maintenance and inspection.

摘要: A steering shock absorbing apparatus for motor vehicle according to the invention comprises a first universal joint for interconnecting a first end of an intermediate shaft and a steering shaft, and a second universal joint for interconnecting a second end of the intermediate shaft and an input shaft of a steering gear. The intermediate shaft includes a hollow bellows portion having slant convexes and slant concaves alternating with each other. A line interconnecting the joint centers of the first and second universal joints is tilted to the center axis of the intermediate shaft at a predetermined angle. At motor vehicle collision, a bending moment derived from an impact force of the collision is exerted on the intermediate shaft because the line is tilted. As a result, the intermediate shaft is bucklingly contracted at the bellows portion thereof.
