    Abstract: An electrochemical apparatus includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and an electrolyte, where the positive electrode includes a positive electrode current collector, a positive electrode active substance layer, and a conductive coating disposed between the positive electrode current collector and the positive electrode active substance layer; the electrolyte includes a first fluorine-containing metal salt, where the first fluorine-containing metal salt includes at least one of fluorine-containing sulfonimide lithium salts; and the electrochemical apparatus satisfies the following relationship: 0.1≤X/d≤105, where X g/m2 is mass per unit area of fluorine-containing sulfonimide lithium salt contained in the electrochemical apparatus on one surface of the positive electrode current collector, and d μm is thickness of the conductive coating on one surface of the positive electrode current collector.

    Abstract: An electrolyte includes diglycolic anhydride and a trinitrile compound, with which the cycle performance and the high-temperature stability under over-discharge conditions of lithium-ion batteries are significantly improved. The electrolyte includes a compound of Formula I; and at least one of a compound of Formula II or a compound of Formula III; R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each independently selected from hydrogen, halo, substituted or unsubstituted C1-C10 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted C2-C10 alkenyl, substituted or unsubstituted C2-C10 alkynyl, substituted or unsubstituted C6-C12 aryl, substituted or unsubstituted C1-C10 alkoxy, or substituted or unsubstituted C6-C12 aryloxy, wherein when substituted, the substituent is halo, cyano, or C1-C10 alkyl; and a, d and f are each independently selected from an integer from 1 to 5, and b, c, e, g, h and i are each independently selected from an integer from 0 to 5.

    Abstract: The present application relates to an electrolyte and an electrochemical device. The electrolyte includes an organic solvent, an additive and a lithium salt, the additive including a cyclic borate and a nitrile compound. The electrolyte of the present application has good stability at a high working voltage. In another embodiment of the present application, the combination of the electrolyte and an anode having a high compacted density provides a high energy density for the electrochemical device, and improves the storage, floating charge and dynamicperformance of the electrochemical device.

    Abstract: An electrochemical apparatus includes a positive electrode and an electrolyte. The electrolyte includes ethylene carbonate (EC), propylene carbonate (PC), and succinonitrile (SN). The positive electrode includes a positive electrode active material, where the positive electrode active material includes metal element A, and the metal element A includes at least one of the following elements: Mg, Zr, or Al. Based on a mass of the electrolyte, a mass percentage of SN is a %, a mass percentage of EC is b %, and a mass percentage of PC is c %, where k=b/c, 1.25≤k≤6, and a/k≥0.2. Based on a mass of the positive electrode active material, a mass percentage of the metal element A is x %, where 0.01≤x≤1. The foregoing electrochemical apparatus exhibits excellent high-temperature cycling performance and high-temperature interval cycling performance.
