Abstract: A rotation transmission device having a high torque measurement resolution is provided. The rotation transmission device is provided with: a rotary-shaft unit (6) having a first and second rotary shaft (13, 14) combined so as to be coaxial and such that the end sections thereof can rotate relative to each other and a torsion bar (15) that is provided on the inner-diameter side of the first and second rotary shafts so as to be coaxial therewith, has one end section connected to the first rotary shaft (13), and has the other end section connected to the second rotary shaft (14); a first gear (7) fastened to the outer peripheral surface of the first rotary shaft (13); a second gear (8) fastened to the outer peripheral surface of the second rotary shaft (14); a coupling shaft (9) provided on the inner-diameter side of the torsion bar (15) so as to be coaxial therewith, having one end section connected to one rotary shaft (13), and having the other end section protruding from an end of the torsion bar (15) in the axial direction; a first encoder disposed and fixed on the other end of the coupling shaft (9) so as to be coaxial with the first rotary shaft (13) and having a first detected section (39); a second encoder fastened on the other end of the second rotary shaft (14) so as to be close to the first encoder and having a second detected section (40); and a sensor unit having at least one sensor (42a, 42b) that faces the first and second detected sections (39, 40).

Abstract: A sun roller of a friction roller-type transmission includes a movable sun roller element (23) capable of moving in an axial direction. Furthermore, the sun roller is provided with a loading cam mechanism which is formed along the circumferential direction of an input shaft (12), the loading cam mechanism having a first cam surface (75), a second cam surface (77) arranged facing the first cam surface (75) and secured to the input shaft (12), rolling elements (63) held between the first and second cam surfaces (75, 77), and an annular holding device (51), and the loading cam mechanism axially displacing the movable sun roller element (23). The holding device (51) has an inside-diameter-surface guiding part (81) for positioning the holding device relative to the input shaft by being fitted over the input shaft, the guiding part being provided to the inside diameter surface.

Abstract: In order to implement a structure capable of improving the resolution of torque measurement while preventing the plastic deformation of a torsion bar (15), an input-side stopper (61) having an uneven shape (gear shape) in the circumferential direction is provided in a portion of an input-side rotating body (55) that includes an input shaft (13) and an input gear (7), and an output-side stopper (63) having an uneven shape (gear shape) in the circumferential direction is provided in a portion of an output-side rotating body (56) that includes an output shaft (14) and an output gear (8). The input-side stopper (61) and the output-side stopper (63) are combined so as to be engaged to be able to transmit torque only when the torsional angle within the elastic range of the torsion bar (15) reaches a predetermined amount.

Abstract: Construction capable of improving the convenience of an electric automobile is achieved by making the drive apparatus for an electric automobile in which a planetary-gear transmission 11 is assembled more compact and simple, and increasing the distance traveled per charge. The planetary-gear transmission 11 comprises a single-pinion first planetary-gear mechanism 12 and a double-pinion second planetary-gear mechanism 13, and reduces power from an electric motor 1a by a desired reduction ratio before transmitting that power to a driven-side rotating shaft 5a. A first braking device 14 switches a ring gear 22 and a second braking device 15 switches a second sun gear 19 between a state of being allowed to rotate and a state of being prevented from rotating with respect to a fixed portion.
