    Abstract: An apparatus may include a hierarchical arrangement of a plurality of resource slices of a mobile network. Each of a plurality of logical networks is allocated a resource slice within the mobile network for each of a plurality of layers, wherein each logical network provides network services for one of a plurality of service categories; wherein each logical network includes at least one dedicated resource slice that is dedicated to the logical network, and at least one shared resource slice that is shared among a plurality of the logical networks; the plurality of resource slices including a plurality of resource slices of a first layer and a plurality of resource slices of a second layer, wherein the first layer is lower than the second layer, wherein data from a set of the resource slices of the second layer are aggregated into a single resource slice of the first layer (downlink direction) and data from the single resource slice of the first layer is demultiplexed and forwarded to a selected resource slice of the set of resource slices of the second layer (uplink direction).

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for a 3GPP bridge for time sensitive networks. In some example embodiment, there may be provided an apparatus causes to at least: receive at least one management object, the at least one management object comprising routing information between an ingress port at a 3GPP bridge and an egress port at the 3 GPP bridge; determine, for the ingress port and the egress port combination, at least one quality of service constraint to provide a delay guarantee towards a destination media access control address, the determination based on the received at least one management object and one or more bridge delays indicating a delay between the ingress port and the egress port; and cause a change, based on the determined at least one quality of service constraint, to a protocol data unit session carrying a time sensitive network flow.

    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods in a communication system are provided. A method comprises receiving a service request comprising service requirements; determining, based on the service request, service level specification of the request, the service level specification comprising performance parameters and network functions to support the requested service; normalizing the determined service level specification by scaling the performance parameters according into a given normalization model of the network to obtain normalized service level specification; determining, based on the network functions and the given normalization model, normalized performance capability of the network functions and a configuration of a network slice supporting the requested service; comparing the normalized service level specification to the normalized performance capability; and determining, based on the comparison, whether the requested service can be realized with the network slice, and if so, create the slice.
