Abstract: A surgical treatment apparatus includes a treatment portion unit; at least one operation portion provided in the treatment portion unit that is movable in response to an operation of an operator; a detection subject portion provided in the operation portion; a gripping portion that is detachable and attachable relative to the treatment portion unit; a non-contact type detection portion that is provided in the gripping portion separately from the operation portion and is capable of detecting an operation of the detection subject portion in accordance with the operation of the operation portion; an energy supply portion provided within the gripping portion, that supplies energy to the treatment portion; and a driving device connected to the gripping portion, that supplies energy to the energy supply portion in accordance with a detection result of the detection portion.

Abstract: A treatment system includes a pair of holding members, a high-frequency energy output section, a heat generating section and a control section. At least one of the pair of holding members moves to the other holding member. The high-frequency energy output section and the heat generating section are provided on at least one of the holding members. The high-frequency energy output section exerts high-frequency energy to a living tissue to denature the living tissue, and collects the biological information of the living tissue. The heat generating section applies heat to it held between the holding members, generates the heat owing to the supply of the energy, and conducts the heat therefrom to denature the living tissue. The control section controls the output of the energy to the high-frequency energy output section and the heat generating section based on the biological information collected by the high-frequency energy output section.

Abstract: In an ultrasonic treatment instrument, a vibration generation section is connected to a probe from a proximal direction side in an inside of a case by coupling a drive assembly integrally and detachably to a handle assembly. An opposite extended portion is extended from the case in a state where the opposite extended portion is opposed to the movable handle on the proximal direction side with respect to the movable handle and a space between the opposite extended portion and the movable handle can be opened and closed, when the drive assembly is coupled to the handle assembly. A battery is located in the opposite extended portion, when the drive assembly is coupled to the handle assembly.
