摘要: A wear monitor suitable in particular for monitoring the wear and tear of rider rings (7) on the pistons (5) of horizontally operating reciprocating compressors presents a sensor (9) that monitors the thickness of the rider ring (7) at least indirectly, is arranged in the area of the rider ring (7) in such a way as to move together with it and can be interrogated without contact via a motionless interrogation unit (16), which communicates with an evaluation unit (18). The sensor (9) preferably presents a passive surface acoustic wave element (23), whose electromagnetic reflection behavior depends on the thickness of the rider ring (7) consequent upon the degree of wear and tear thereof and which communicates with a sensor antenna (19) moving together with it, while the interrogation unit (16) presents a communicating interrogation antenna (20).

摘要: The tire comprises a radially inner carcass (1), a base layer (2) which is applied to said carcass radially, externally; a profile comprising numerous profile elements (3, 4, 5) applied radially, externally to said base layer (2); and a sensor (6) which is located in the base layer (2) and associated with one profile element (5) selected from said profile elements (3, 4, 5) and which is used to determine a maximum force exerted on said selected profile element (5). The selected profile element (5) is mechanically separate from all of the other profile elements (3, 4). The method for determining a wear value for a tire of this type that turns and rolls on a base surface (10) provides that the maximum force is measured while the tire is rolling and that the wear value is determined from this maximum force.

摘要: Disclosed are a method and a traffic routing system for controlling traffic flows in which hazardous or special material is transported through safety-critical traffic zones such as tunnels, bridges or locks. In the method and traffic routing system, safety-relevant data is read with the help of a signal transmitter disposed on the transported hazardous or special material and is transmitted to a central computer unit when said vehicle passes reading devices located in the safety-critical traffic zone. The central computer unit determines a safety risk in the safety-critical traffic zone on the basis of the safety-relevant data of all transported hazardous or special material located in the safety-critical traffic zone and sets traffic routing signals.

摘要: A method for assigning a position of a tire, having a tire sensor, on a vehicle, includes transmitting, with the sensor, a signal including at least an identification number of the sensor following activation by a signal from an LF antenna connected to an evaluation unit. At a system start time, the evaluation unit first initiates an initialization including determination of the position of each tire having a sensor. The evaluation unit stores the identification number of each sensor together with the determined position of the tire having the sensor, before switching into a normal operating mode in which tire data, for example air pressure, is monitored by the sensors, with the position and preferably assignment of the sensor to a specific LF antenna, being stored in the sensor and kept available for retrieval. A device and a system for measuring air pressure in a vehicle tire are also provided.

摘要: Device for measuring electrical conductivity of a liquid medium comprising constant voltage means, connected to a first electrode arrangement for injecting an alternating signal into the liquid medium, detection means, connected to a second electrode arrangement coupled via the liquid medium, for generating a measurement signal influenced by the electrical conductivity with a clock frequency (CLK) of the alternating signal, and evaluation means which from a current-proportional injection signal of the current injected by the first electrode arrangement into the liquid medium and from the measurement signal generate a conductivity signal of the liquid medium. The constant voltage means are made in an individual circuit branch which has commutator means for the first electrode arrangement and ohmic resistance means in a series connection, the current-proportional injection signal being tapped as a voltage drop over the resistance means.

摘要: There is described a procedure for temporally limiting the storage of data on storage media, in which the data are provided with an expiry date when being stored on a storage medium. When access is made to these data by a read/write device, the expiry date is compared with a current date. When the expiry date is reached or exceeded, a pre-specified action is initiated—for example the deletion of the data from the storage medium or access being made to the data only by authorization. Based upon the procedure it is possible, on the one hand, to easily render sensitive information such as personal data unusable upon expiration of a storage period, if for example the expiry date is set to coincide with the date when the storage period elapses. On the other hand, copyright and marketing rights for digital data can thereby be easily protected without the additional use of licensing servers of the installation of executable programs.

摘要: There is described a system for controlling electrical consumers of an electrical installation, comprising in addition to the consumers control and operating elements. The system has means for near field communication, by which data and control commands are transmitted, are assigned to the consumers and the actuation and control elements. The near field communication systems are coupled asymmetrically to electrically conducting infrastructure elements in such a manner that quasi-stationary near field with a high-frequency alternative current is impressed upon the infrastructure.
