    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) information indicating whether the network node is configured to perform a retransmission of decoding information prior to an end of HARQ processes associated with the network node. The UE may receive, for a HARQ process associated with a downlink communication from the network node, a retransmission of a transport block (TB) that is associated with a reserved MCS when full decoding information for the TB is unavailable. The UE may perform, based on a reception of a retransmission, an action to proceed with the HARQ process, to restart the HARQ process, or to terminate the HARQ process, wherein the action is based on whether the network node is configured to perform the retransmission of the indication of the MCS. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A device may transmit or receive multiple data packets via a data connection established via a wireless channel. The multiple data packets may be a sequence of data packets. The device may identify a quantity of duplicate acknowledgment (ACK) messages, where a first ACK message may be identified as being a duplicate ACK message based on a second ACK message indicating successful receipt of a same packet as the first ACK message and successful receipt of one or more subsequent packets in the sequence of data packets, and based on the second ACK message being generated within a time duration threshold of the first ACK message. The device may perform a duplicate ACK recovery procedure based on the quantity of duplicate ACK messages satisfying a trigger threshold.

    Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and related apparatus are provided. In the method, the UE obtains multiple buffer status reporting (BSR) tables and multiple sets of one or more timers. Each BSR table of the multiple BSR tables corresponds to one logic channel group (LCG) of multiple LCGs. The UE further communicates with a network entity based on one BSR table selected from the multiple BSR tables and one set of timers selected from the multiple sets of one or more timers. The method enables the UE to obtain multiple BSR tables and BSR timers and select corresponding BSR tables and timers according to specific characteristics of the traffic.

    Abstract: A UE may be configured to receive, from a base station, consecutive DCI messages including respective indicator values that are equal, each of the indicator values indicating an association with one of a new transmission or a retransmission. The UE may be further configured to remain in an awake state for at least a portion of a scheduled sleep state of a DRX cycle scheduled by the base station based on the respective indicator values being equal across the consecutive DCI messages. A base station may be configured to transmit, to a UE, a DCI message indicating a set of resources allocated to the UE for a transmission, and to transmit, to the UE, data to synchronize a DRX cycle with the UE based on an absence of the transmission from the set of resources allocated to the UE.
