摘要: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) user equipment (UE) may communicate, using a first SIM, on a plurality of component carriers. The multi-SIM UE may select a first subset of component carriers from the plurality of component carriers based at least in part on a component carrier prioritization. The multi-SIM UE may identify an amount of memory available to a second SIM. The multi-SIM UE may tune away, based at least in part on the amount of memory available to the second SIM, from a second subset of component carriers The first subset of component carriers may be different from the second subset of component carriers. Numerous other aspects are described.

摘要: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may start, at a default data subscription (DDS) of the UE, a timer associated with a non-Third Generation Partnership Project (non-3GPP) tunnel over a cellular network based at least in part on a DDS switching at the UE. The UE may determine, at the DDS, that the non-3GPP tunnel over the cellular network is available prior to an expiry of the timer. The UE may perform a handover of a non-3GPP tunnel over data connection to the DDS based at least in part on the DDS switching at the UE and the non-3GPP tunnel over the cellular network being available prior to the expiry of the timer. An example method generally includes receiving, from a network entity, quality of service (QoS) information, a QoS identifier associated with the QoS information, and a bearer context associated with the QoS information in one of a modify bearer context request message, an activate default bearer context request message, or an activate dedicated bearer context request message; and updating a QoS configuration using the QoS information based on whether the UE is already configured with QoS information associated with the QoS identifier for a bearer context different from the bearer context associated with the QoS information received in the modify bearer context request message, activate default bearer context request message, or activate dedicated bearer context request message.

摘要: An apparatus for wireless communication includes a memory and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to send a data session establishment request to establish a data session with a network device using a wireless communication network. The data session establishment request has a first field to indicate a requested network slice for the data session. The processor is further to receive an indication of a granted network slice for the data session and to receive an indication of a back-off timer value from the network device. The processor is further configured, after expiration of a back-off timer based on the back-off timer value, to send a first message associated with the granted network slice and to send a second message having a second field corresponding to the first field of the data session establishment request.

摘要: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) includes determining that both a cellular radio access technology (RAT) and a wireless local area network (WLAN) RAT are available over an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band; obtaining measurements for at least the cellular RAT or the WLAN RAT; selecting, by the UE, one of the cellular RAT or the WLAN RAT for a class of traffic, where the selected RAT is selected based at least in part on the measurements; and serving the class of traffic based at least in part on the selected RAT.

摘要: In aspects of the disclosure, a method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, the apparatus determines if a connection to a PLMN has been established. In another aspect, the apparatus builds a FQDN based on the determination by attempting to build the FQDN using each of the prioritized FQDNs in order of priority until the FQDN is built, building the FQDN using a PLMN ID of the PLMN if it is determined that the PLMN is found in the list, or building the FQDN based on the wildcard PLMN if it is determined that the list comprises the wildcard PLMN. Further still, the apparatus selects an ePDG based on the FQDN.

The system information may include inter-frequency configuration and measurement reporting configuration. The UE may perform a measurement of a frequency or multiple frequencies that are associated with the inter-frequency configuration. Subsequent to the measurement, the UE may transmit a report of the measurement of the frequency or multiple frequencies to the network node during a radio resource control (RRC) connection procedure based on the measurement reporting configuration.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for wireless communication. A user equipment (UE) device may be connected to a first evolved packet data gateway (ePDG) via a first radio access technology (RAT). The UE may evaluate, either periodically or based on a trigger event, an ePDG reselection metric associated with the first ePDG to determine whether selecting a second ePDG different from the first ePDG is viable. The UE may then reselect to a second ePDG based on whether the ePDG reselection metric satisfies one or more selection conditions. Selection conditions may include, for example, a change in the location or public land mobile network (PLMN) of the UE, UE movement between networks, or a connection failure associated with the first ePDG.
