摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. One method may include a wireless communications device determining an inter-modulation distortion value between simultaneous communications on a first configuration of a first radio access network and a second configuration of a second radio access network, and dynamically switching between a non-standalone mode and a standalone mode of operation, based on the inter-modulation distortion value and a quality of service requirement for the standalone mode. The wireless communications device may also provide for time division multiplexing communications on a first RAT and a second RAT wherein only the first or second RAT is active during a period of time, and wherein the first RAT is an anchor for the second RAT.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided to perform an adaptive access procedure on a multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) wireless communication device having at least a first SIM and a second SIM associated with a shared radio frequency (RF) resource. The wireless communication device may detect that signaling on a random access channel (RACH) is required in order to establish access to a first network on a modem stack associated with the first SIM, identify a first protection window having a duration based on timing of an expected response by the first network to signaling on the RACH, and determine whether a tune-away period to decode a paging channel in a second network supported by the second SIM is scheduled to occur within the first protection window. If so, the wireless communication device may postpone signaling on the RACH until completion of the scheduled tune-away period.

摘要: Various embodiments for performing remote authentication of a virtual subscriber identity module (SIM) on a mobile communication device include receiving, on a first subscription of the mobile communication device, an authentication request from a virtual SIM network. The mobile communication device may tune from the first subscription to a second subscription of the mobile communication device to send the authentication request to a remote server and periodically perform tune-aways between the first subscription and the second subscription while determining whether the remote server has sent an authentication response through the second subscription. The mobile communication device may send the authentication response to the virtual SIM network through the first subscription in response to determining that the remote server has sent an authentication response through the second subscription.

摘要: Embodiments include systems and methods for managing performance of a small cell search function during an active communication session via a first subscription in a multi-subscription multi-standby communication device. A device processor may perform a first tune away to a second subscription to receive first small cell information, and may tune back to the first subscription after receiving the first small cell information to resume the active communication session. The device processor may perform a second tune away to the second subscription to receive second small cell information, and may tune back to the first subscription after receiving the second small cell information to resume the active communication session. The device processor may select one of the first small cell and the second small cell for cell reselection based on the first small cell information and the second small cell information.

摘要: Described herein are various aspects related to determining whether to read system information of a network entity. A user equipment (UE) can receive system information transmitted by a network entity. The UE can analyze one or more parameters of the system information to determine whether system information for the network entity has changed when a value tag broadcasted in the system information is equivalent to a stored value tag for the network entity; thus the UE can utilize more than just the value tag, such as system information size, system information scheduling, a value tag in master information, and/or the like, at least in instance where the value tag may be the same in different transmissions of the system information. The UE can process the system information for the network entity based at least in part on determining that the system information for the network entity has changed.

摘要: Techniques for prioritizing non-scheduled data are described. Non-scheduled data to be transmitted on a non-scheduled MAC-d flow having a non-scheduled priority and scheduled data to be transmitted on a scheduled MAC-d flow having a scheduled priority may be identified by a user equipment (UE). The UE may transmit the non-scheduled MAC-d flow and the scheduled MAC-d flow according to a priority condition. In one aspect, the UE may receive a pre-allocation of power associated with a non-empty non-scheduled MAC-d flow. Based on a priority condition that the non-scheduled priority is a highest priority, the UE may apply all of the pre-allocation of power when transmitting the non-scheduled MAC-d flow. In one aspect, based on a priority condition that the non-scheduled priority is a lower priority, the UE may adjust the non-scheduled priority and/or the scheduled priority so that the non-scheduled priority is a higher priority
