Abstract:
A multi-view device for use in conjunction with a display apparatus is provided. The device includes: a lens unit which operates to selectively transmit or block light; a communication unit which communicates with the display apparatus which is displaying a content image; and a controller which receives a beacon signal in synchronization with a display period of the content image from the display apparatus via the communication unit, controls an operation of the lens unit based on the received beacon signal, and changes a reception frequency of the beacon signal in accordance with a running time of the content image displayed on the display apparatus.
Abstract:
A method of controlling a wireless audio signal in order to avoid frequency interference between a display apparatus with a multi-view function and glasses with a function of receiving a wireless audio signal is provided. The method of controlling a wireless audio signal in a wireless audio signal transmitting device includes: pairing with a wireless audio signal receiving device using a first frequency band; detecting frequency interference by an external device other than the paired wireless audio signal receiving device; scanning a frequency when frequency interference is detected; determining whether a frequency change is needed using information related to the scanned frequency; and changing an audio signal transmitting frequency when frequency change is needed.
Abstract:
A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes: a video processor which, in a multi-view mode, processes a plurality of contents and generates a plurality of content views, a display which displays the plurality of content views, a sync signal generator which generates a sync signal regarding the plurality of content views, a communicator which transmits the sync signal, and a controller which, upon communicating with a glasses apparatus, transmits information on a target content view which is controllable from among the plurality of content views to the glasses apparatus. Accordingly, a newly-connected glasses apparatus may be directly synchronized with a target content view.
Abstract:
A head-mounted display apparatus and method of the control are provided. The apparatus includes a display unit, a signal processing unit processing an image signal received from an outside to display a first image on the display unit, a shutter glass performing a shutter operation to allow selective transmission of external light, a communication unit communicating with an external display apparatus, and a controller controlling the head-mounted display apparatus to operate in a selective one of a first mode, in which the head-mounted display apparatus operates corresponding to a second image displayed on the external display apparatus, and a second mode, in which the head-mounted display apparatus displays the image signal processed by the signal processing unit on the display unit as the first image, based on a preset event.
Abstract:
A fine interval coating member for a LED display and a coating method using the same are provided. The coating member includes column portions and row portions crossing the column portions, and holes between the column portions and the row portions. The body portion includes a material that is melted at a temperature higher than room temperature and that is cured at the room temperature.
Abstract:
A display device including a display panel is provided, the display device including a plurality of pixels, a display controller configured to input image data to the plurality of pixels during a second time within a first time, the first time being determined by a scanning frequency of the display panel and to maintain the image data input to the plurality of pixels during a third time, the third time being a part or all of the first time excluding the second time, and a power supply configured to supply power to the display panel and the display controller. The display controller generates a power sync signal which is enabled during the second time, and the power supply supplies the power based on the power sync signal.
Abstract:
