Abstract:
A server includes a memory storing instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to obtain an inside-fridge image captured in a refrigerator by comparing a pre-stored image to the obtained inside-fridge image, identify whether a change area in which a change occurred in the obtained inside-fridge image is present in the obtained inside-fridge image, based on the change area being not present in the obtained inside-fridge image, obtain first food storage information, using a first result of recognizing the pre-stored image, based on the change area being present in the obtained inside-fridge image, obtain second food storage information, using the obtained first food storage information and a second result of recognizing an object included in the obtained inside-fridge image, and transmit, to the refrigerator, the obtained inside-fridge image and either one or both of the obtained first food storage information and the obtained second food storage information.
Abstract:
A communication interface device is disclosed. The communication interface device includes a plurality of terminals configured to receive a differential signal from an external device, a filter configured to include a low pass filter connected to at least one of the plurality of terminals, and a controller configured to determine whether a differential signal is input from the external device based on a change of an output value of the low pass filter.
Abstract:
A display device and a driving board are provided. The display device includes a buffer configured to generate a applied voltage corresponding to a driving control signal; a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel configured to change a liquid crystal transmittance thereof in accordance with the applied voltage; a switcher configured to selectively provide an intermediate voltage of a predetermined level, which makes the LCD panel transmit no light, to the LCD panel; and a driving controller configured to control the switcher to block power from being supplied to the buffer and to provide the intermediate voltage to the LCD panel in response to a predetermined event occurring.
Abstract:
A display device including a display panel is provided, the display device including a plurality of pixels, a display controller configured to input image data to the plurality of pixels during a second time within a first time, the first time being determined by a scanning frequency of the display panel and to maintain the image data input to the plurality of pixels during a third time, the third time being a part or all of the first time excluding the second time, and a power supply configured to supply power to the display panel and the display controller. The display controller generates a power sync signal which is enabled during the second time, and the power supply supplies the power based on the power sync signal.
Abstract:
A display apparatus is provided that including a display configured to display content. The display apparatus also includes a main controller configured to control operation of the display, a power supplier configured to supply power to operate the display and the main controller, a power measurer configured to measure the power supplied by the power supplier, a storage configured to store information regarding a third power range which is between a first power range that the display apparatus consumes in a sleep state and a second power range that the display apparatus consumes in a normal state, and a power controller configured to cut off the power supplied by the power supplier in response to the measured power being within the third power range.
Abstract:
A door lock apparatus is provided. The door lock apparatus includes a first interface configured to communicate with a plurality of external apparatuses; a near field communicator configured to perform authentication for opening a door; a second interface configured to communicate with a display apparatus; and a controller configured to control the first interface to receive status information on each of the plurality of external apparatuses from the plurality of external apparatuses, control the second interface to transmit the received status information to the display apparatus to be displayed in response to the authentication being performed by the near field communicator.
Abstract:
An image display apparatus and a method for driving the same are provided. The image display apparatus includes a display panel including a light emitting element formed in a pixel area defined by intersection of a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of data lines, the display panel being configured to display an image by controlling the light emitting element, a discharger configured to perform a discharge operation of the plurality of scan lines by time-division control with respect to a discharge line connected to the plurality of scan lines in the number less than the plurality of scan lines, and a controller configured to control the light emitting element and the discharger.
Abstract:
Provided are a method of forming patterns and a method of manufacturing an integrated circuit device. In the method of forming patterns, a photoresist pattern having a first opening exposing a first region of a target layer is formed. A capping layer is formed at sidewalls of the photoresist pattern defining the first opening. An insoluble region is formed around the first opening by diffusing acid from the capping layer to the inside of the photoresist pattern. A second opening exposing a second region of the target layer is formed by removing a soluble region spaced apart from the first opening, with the insoluble region being interposed therebetween. The target layer is etched using the insoluble region as an etch mask.
Abstract:
A pairing apparatus and method are provided. The pairing apparatus includes: a first communicator configured to broadcast a search signal over a first communication method, and to receive, from the external communication apparatus, a first response signal in response to the search signal; a second communicator configured to receive a second response signal via a second communication method having a shorter transmission range than the first communication method; and a controller configured to, in response to the first communicator receiving the first response signal and the second communicator receiving the second response signal, control to perform a pairing with the external communication apparatus, wherein the second communicator is periodically activated while the pairing apparatus is turned on, and an activation period of the second communicator is set adaptively according to a transmission period of the second response signal.
