摘要： Methods and apparatuses are provided for transmitting and receiving control information. A method for transmitting control information, performed by a base station, includes transmitting, to a terminal, information associated with a resource region carrying a control channel; transmitting, to the terminal, by upper layer signaling, a plurality of values associated with control channel candidates, each of the plurality of values corresponding to each of a plurality of numbers associated with CCEs constituting one control channel candidate, wherein the each of the plurality of values indicates a number of control channel candidates to be monitored by the terminal; determining a set of control channel candidates based on an ID of the terminal and at least one of the plurality of values associated with the control channel candidates; selecting at least one control channel candidate from among the set of control channel candidates; and transmitting the control information to the terminal through the at least one selected control channel candidate in the resource region.

摘要： An apparatus and method are provided for feeding back channel quality information and performing scheduling using the fed-back channel quality information in a wireless communication system based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA). In the OFDMA wireless communication system, forward performance degradation due to a decrease in an amount of reverse channel quality information is reduced, and also an increase in the reverse load due to channel quality information feedback is suppressed. A base station controls power of a physical channel using information fed back from a mobile station. In a method for feeding back channel quality information from the mobile station, sub-band-by-sub-band channel quality information is measured and channel-by-channel quality information of a number of channels is transmitted in order of sub-bands of better channel quality information. Average channel quality information for a total band is measured and transmitted.

Control symbols are mapped to a plurality of resource element groups (REGs) which is not assigned to a physical channel format indication channel (PCFICH) or a physical hybrid automatic repeat request indicator channel (PHICH). The mapped control symbols are transmitted on a packet dedicated control channel (PDCCH). A physical resource block (PRB) on a second orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol in a first slot in a subframe includes three REGs if one or two cell-specific reference signals are configured, and the PRB on the second OFDM symbol of the first slot in the subframe includes two REGs if four cell-specific reference signals are configured.
