Abstract: An aerial display apparatus includes: a display device which displays an image; a mirror device which includes a plurality of optical elements each including two reflective surfaces that are orthogonally disposed, which reflects display light from the display device, and which forms an aerial image at a position that is plane-symmetrical to the display device; and a light shielding member which is disposed on an optical path between the display device and the aerial image, which includes an opening that allows a portion of incident light to pass through, and which shields light incident on a region other than the opening.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal layer is provided between a first substrate and a second substrate. A switching element is provided on the first substrate. A pixel electrode is electrically connected to the switching element. A color filter is provided on a liquid crystal side of the second substrate and corresponds to the pixel electrode. A common electrode is provided on a liquid crystal side of the color filter. A light guide plate guides laser light incident on a side surface and emits the laser light from a main surface. A diffusion plate diffuses the laser light emitted from the light guide plate and applies the laser light to the first substrate. A supporting unit supports the diffusion plate. A vibration generation unit is provided in the supporting unit and vibrates the diffusion plate.

Abstract: A light source device supplies a laser light to a display panel. The light source device includes: a light-emitting element configured to emit a laser light; and a light guide plate with a stepped bottom portion, the light guide plate disposed to receive the laser light from the light-emitting element at a side portion. The bottom portion of the light guide plate includes a plurality of reflecting surfaces arranged side by side in a first direction in which the laser light travels.
