    摘要: An external solenoid positioned external to a tire, and an internal solenoid provided inside a valve of the tire, which transmits and receives power by an alternating magnetic field in a predetermined high frequency band that generates an induced alternating current in the internal solenoid, is used as a new source of power for a tire pressure/temperature detection device instead of a battery. If the alternating magnetic field in a predetermined high frequency band is well matched to the physical structure and electrical structure of the tire, then, in the space between the tire and a wheel, an induced alternating magnetic field component is distributed that is substantially parallel to the axis of rotation of the tire. If the internal solenoid is matched to the direction of maximum magnetic field reception, when the tire rotates, and when the position of the wheel is stopped, substantially stable power may be received.

    摘要: Ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer membranes characterized by constituent particles having an average diameter within the range of from 100 to 10,000 Angstrom units, determined under an electron microscope for the dry membrane, bonded to each other, wherein the membrane is substantially free from pores in excess of from 2 microns in diameter.Such a membrane has a permeability to water of 10 to 200 .times. 10.sup.-16 cm.sup.2 and to vitamin B.sub.12 of not less than 0.8 .times. 10.sup.-7 cm.sup.2 per second, and being of particular value as a membrane for the dialysis of blood.The membrane is obtained by dissolving an ethylenevinyl alcohol copolymer in a solvent consisting essentially of dimethylsulfoxide or dimethylacetamide and causing the resulting solution to coagulate from an aqueous coagulation bath under mild conditions such that the coagulation time as defined in the specification is not less than 3 seconds.

    摘要: An external antenna positioned external to a tire, and an internal antenna provided inside a valve of the tire, which transmits and receives power by electromagnetic waves in a predetermined high frequency band is substituted as a new source of power, for a tire pressure/temperature detection device that conventionally uses a battery power source. If the electromagnetic waves in a predetermined high frequency band are well matched to the physical structure and electrical structure of the tire, then, in the space between the tire and a wheel, a magnetic field component is distributed that is substantially perpendicular to the plane that includes the maximum diameter of tire. If the internal antenna is matched to the direction of maximum magnetic field reception, when the tire rotates, and when the position of the wheel is stopped, substantially stable power may be received.

    摘要: A method of producing a cyclized polydiene comprising cyclizing a polydiene in an organic solvent with the aid of a binary catalyst comprising tin halide or titanium halide and an organosulfonic acid or a haloacetic acid. The method provides a cyclized polydiene having a narrow molecular weight distribution in a short reaction time and with high reproducibility. The method does not entail side reactions causing gelation or discoloration.
