摘要: This invention relates to a remote lock operation apparatus for a light vehicle without a cabin and having two, three, or four wheels. One objective of the invention is to make it possible for the infrared receiver of a remote lock operation apparatus to cover a range of directivity without being influenced by a seat or a vehicle body rear portion. Another objective is limit the design of the remote lock apparatus to as few as one infrared receiver, thereby reducing the burden to a vehicle battery. In this invention, an infrared receiver is disposed at the center of a vehicle body front half portion in a vehicle widthwise direction with a reception face thereof directed rearwardly. Further, the receiver is placed at a height at which reception of an infrared signal emitted from rearwardly is not disturbed by a vehicle accessory or a vehicle body rear portion on the rear side with respect to the receiver.

摘要: A remote control lock operation system for a vehicle capable of unlocking a mechanical locking mechanism for mechanically disabling traveling of the vehicle by a infrared signal, without using the key. Components of the system include a handheld remote control transmitter, a receiver, a mechanical locking mechanism, a lock actuator and control unit, and wiring sections for connecting the lock actuator and the receiver to the control unit mounted in a common module housing contained on the vehicle body. The main components of the system, including the wiring section leading to the lock actuator, are unitized and integrate into the common module housing in order to prevent unauthorized unlocking of the lock. Also provided is a mobile communication terminal having an infrared transmitting port, and a method for using of the terminal. The mobile communication terminal for operating the remote control lock operation device, even when the remote control transmitter is lost, or for some other reason is not available.

The vehicle approach notification control apparatus for an electric motorcycle includes a speaker for generating notification sound equivalent to engine sound of an engine driven motorcycle of a vehicle category that is the same as a vehicle category of the electric motorcycle in response to a motor speed of an electric motor or a vehicle speed. The vehicle approach notification control apparatus includes a pseudo engine sound volume storage device configured to store sound volume data of engine sound with respect to the entire running sound upon running of the engine driven vehicle, and a control unit for controlling the notification sound.

摘要: The card connector can adequately detect the state in which an electronic device such as a memory card to be inserted and removed is fitted, and saves the footprint for mounting the card connector. With this card connector, a card detection switch detects a state in which a memory card is fitted in an accommodating part of a housing through an insertion slot. The card detection switch has movable terminals and fixed terminals, and the movable terminals each have a card contact part which is displaced by being pressed by the memory card to be inserted, and a movable contact part which is displaced in a same direction as a direction in which card contact part is displaced following displacement of the card contact part. The fixed terminals are each arranged in the housing to project in a direction to interest the direction in which the movable contact part is displaced, and is slid against by the movable contact part when the movable contact part is displaced.

摘要: A receptacle connector prevents a plug from being obliquely inserted with a simple configuration. Receptacle connector 100 has: a hollow rectangular shape shield case (120) which is made by machining a metal plate and which includes fitting slot 101; and a housing (110) which is covered by the shield case (120) and in which contacts (130) to be connected with terminal parts (230) of an inserted plug (200) are disposed. In the shield case (120), a projecting part (124) is formed extending along one side of the fitting slot (101) by denting an upper plate part (122), which defines the accommodating part (104) accommodating the plug (200), to project toward an accommodating region (104). An end surface (124a) of this projecting part (124) on the fitting slot (101) side is closer to the fitting slot (101) side than the contacts (130) and forms a plane orthogonal to the upper plate part (122).

摘要: An immobilizer device for a vehicle includes a key which has a transponder, an engine ECU, and an immobilizer ECU which receives a first identification information transmitted from the key and inputs the identification information to the engine ECU via a first identification information transmitting device. The immobilizer ECU includes a second identification information transmitting device which inputs second, different identification information to the engine ECU. The engine ECU includes a first and second identification information authentication devices which respectively authenticate the first identification information and the second identification information based on first and second comparison data set in the engine ECU. The engine ECU allows an engine to start when the first and second identification information are appropriately authenticated. The first identification information is based on random numbers generated by the engine ECU.

摘要: In an electronic key system for a vehicle which includes a control apparatus mounted on an actual vehicle and an electronic key for transmitting a response signal in response to receiving of a request signal transmitted from the control apparatus through a transmitting antenna, the transmitting antenna is installed on an instrument panel of the actual vehicle. In particular, the instrument panel has various instruments (a speedometer, a direction indicator (left), another direction indicator (right), and so forth) and a board for securing the instruments thereto. Accordingly, the transmitting antenna is installed at a position on the board rather near to a seat (a position of front side of the user when the user is seated on the seat).
