    Abstract: An improved drop hitch apparatus has at least one hitch plate for coupling to a portion of a hitch assembly of a trailer, a support assembly for supporting the hitch assemblies of a trailer and a towing vehicle, and a mounting assembly for mounting the apparatus to at least a portion of a hitch assembly of a towing vehicle. The drop hitch apparatus is useful as a height adjustment adapter to couple a trailer and a towing vehicle when the trailer has a hitch assembly lower than that of the towing vehicle's hitch assembly. The mounting assembly has a mounting shelf, a mounting bar, a stability member. The support assembly has an upstanding support plate and an upstanding shaft member.

    Abstract: A technique for assessing the progression of multilateral dysfunction, e.g. bilateral diseases is described. The process consists of two stages: firstly, a ‘health measure’ is computed for each of the features of the multi-lateral dysfunction. One example is in terms of the progression of Parkinson's disease by applying it to the uptake of imaging agent in the two striata of the brain, which can be viewed using SPECT imaging. In this example, a characteristic graph for each striatum is matched to a family of such graphs in order to quantify the state of each striatum as a health measure. Then the lower health measure is plotted against the higher health measure. This point is then projected onto a previously computed disease progression trajectory which is used to assign a percentage to the progression of the disease, from 0% normal to 100% extreme progression of the disease. In addition to the disease progression percentage, the technique also provides a confidence measure of the accuracy of this estimation. The invention is applicable to other forms of multilateral dysfunction, including other human or animal conditions and dysfunction in non-biological systems such as mechanical, electrical or electronic systems.

    Abstract: The disclosed invention is a means of transporting personal items such as those commonly taken to do shopping, and storing them in an easily accessible manner to a shopping cart or stroller handle. The device can also include a second side for children riding in the child's seat of a shopping cart, thereby allowing storage for items of entertainment to the child or even a pillow for their comfort during the shopping excursion. The device is comprised of one or more flaps, at least some of the flaps including pockets that are capable of distinctively storing items that would be necessary to a shopper or child, whichever the case may be. The invention includes a pliable portion that is capable of flexing around and fastening to the handle of a shopping cart or stroller and in doing so creating accessible pockets that are exclusive to each the child and the shopper. Lowered openings of the pockets on the user's flap restricts a small child's access to the shopper's items that are not intended for the child to encounter. Cover flaps can also be used to restrict accessibility to some or all pockets by providing a barrier to the child as well as a potential thief yet still providing easy accessibility to the user. The invention can be removably attached to the handle if the shopper brings their own to the store or permanently secured to the handle as would be the case if the invention is provided as an accessory to the cart.
