    Abstract: A device may include a memory storing instructions and processor configured to execute the instructions to register client devices to receive Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) messages, including at least one Road Side Unit (RSU) configured to broadcast messages to vehicles using Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) signals or using cellular wireless signals over a PC5 interface. The processor may be further configured to receive a V2X message; determine a geographic area associated with the received V2X message; determine a message type for the received V2X message; identify a set of client devices located in the identified geographic area and subscribed to receive V2X messages of the identified message type; select a subset of client devices, of the identified set of client devices, based on geographic or situational relevance; and send the received V2X message to the selected subset of client devices, including the at least one RSU.

    Abstract: A device, method, and system provide for collecting service parameters associated with application sessions associated with a plurality of MEC clusters; obtaining capability information associated with each of the plurality of MEC clusters; generating service profiles for a set of transport networks based on the service parameters and the capability information, wherein each transport network includes at least one of the plurality of MEC clusters; receiving, from a user equipment (UE) device, a request for a MEC service having a minimum service requirement; and selecting, based on the service profiles, a MEC cluster from the plurality of MEC clusters to provide the MEC service, wherein the selected MEC cluster is included in a first transport network that meets the minimum service requirement.

    Abstract: A device may include a memory storing instructions and processor configured to execute the instructions to select a vehicle attached to a base station; determine a speed and a vehicle type associated with the vehicle; and calculate an estimated braking distance for the vehicle based on the speed and the vehicle type. The processor may be further configured to generate a geofence for the vehicle based on the calculated estimated braking distance; use the generated geofence to identify at least one relevant Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) message to be forwarded to the vehicle; and forward the identified at least one relevant V2X message to the vehicle via the base station.

    Abstract: Systems and methods described herein provide location-based routing for edge networks. A network device receives routing rules associating geohash tiles, for a region of interest, with one or more virtual Road Side Units (vRSUs). The network device receives a message from a vehicle client in the region of interest. The message includes a message header that identifies geospatial coordinates of a vehicle. The network device calculates a geohash based on the geospatial coordinates in the message header and associates, based on the routing rules, the geohash with one of the vRSU. The network device routes the message to the one of the vRSUs based on the associating.
