The connector can have sockets that accept mating elements of the mating connector. Conductors of the connector are associated with each socket and make electrical contact with mating elements received therein. Electrical connectors constructed in this manner can provide increased current density and/or a more reliable connection between the conductors and the mating element.

摘要： A hydraulic strain sensor for use with a downhole tool includes a housing having two chambers with a pressure differential between the two chambers. A mandrel is disposed in the housing. The mandrel is adapted to be coupled to the tool such that the weight of the tool is supported by the pressure differential between the two chambers. A pressure-responsive sensor in communication with the one of the chambers is provided to sense pressure changes in the chamber as the tool is accelerated or decelerated and to generate signals representative of the pressure changes.

摘要： Disclosed herein are methods and systems for the preparation of a co-injection molded multilayer plastic article. Some methods include co-extruding a combined polymeric stream having an interior core stream encased by an inner stream and an outer stream. A volumetric ratio of the inner stream to outer stream is adjusted during injection of the combined stream into the a mold cavity to alter a streamline along which the interior core stream flows thereby forming cohesion member that structurally interlocks the interior layer with the inner layer, with the outer layer or with both. Some embodiments reduce or eliminate a need for addition of an adhesive in the composite stream to prevent delamination of layers of the resulting multilayer plastic article. In some embodiments, cohesion members may be employed to produce a desired cosmetic effect in a resulting article.

摘要： An electrical connector having one or more electrical contacts for providing an electrical connection to an inserted pin is provided. The electrical connector includes a spring made of electrically conductive material and a loading element attached to the spring and arranged to define an opening for pin insertion. The spring is physically arranged relative to the loading element to create a tension on the loading element. The electrical connector includes at least one conductive wire in electrical communication with the spring. The wire is wound around the spring and the loading element, providing multiple electrical contact points radially inward relative to a center of the opening to provide electrical contact to the inserted pin. When the pin is inserted into the opening, the loading element is tensioned such that the loading element generates a contact force at each contact point.

摘要： An additive manufacturing system may include a build surface, one or more laser energy sources, and an optics assembly. Exposure of a layer of material on the build surface to laser energy from the optics assembly melts at least a portion of the layer of material. A gas flow head is coupled to the optics assembly and defines a partially enclosed volume between the optics assembly and the build surface. The gas flow head includes a gas inflow through which a supply gas flows into the gas flow head, a gas outflow through which a return gas flows out of the gas flow head, and an aperture arranged to permit transmission of the laser energy through the gas flow head to the build surface. The supply gas and return gas define a gas flow profile within the gas flow head.
