摘要: A chemical anchoring assembly useful for fast application of a driving tool into a borehole includes an elongated tube having a first end and a second end, a quantity of chemical anchoring material within the elongated tube, and a vent at the second end of the elongated tube. As an anchor pin is driven through the elongated tube and into the borehole, forcing the chemical anchoring material into the borehole, some of the pressure caused by compression of the chemical anchoring material is released into the vent, allowing easier driving of the anchor pin.

摘要: A chemical anchoring assembly useful for fast application of a driving tool into a borehole includes an elongated tube having a first end and a second end, a quantity of chemical anchoring material within the elongated tube, and a vent at the second end of the elongated tube. 摘要: An anchoring adhesive combination includes a slug or package of chemical anchoring adhesive having a proximal end and a distal end and a rod which can be a penetrator having a pointed proximal end, and open distal end, and a threaded or corrugated outer surface. The pointed proximal end of the penetrator is connected to the distal end of the slug or package of chemical anchoring adhesive so that the pointed proximal end is at least partially surrounded by chemical anchoring adhesive. The open distal end of the penetrator receives a proximal end of an anchor pin to form a combination of anchor pin, penetrator and slug or package of anchoring adhesive in series. By placing the combination adjacent to a borehole and simply pounding a distal end of the anchor pin an integrated method is performed whereby a) anchoring adhesive is released and mixed in the borehole, b) the inner wall of the borehole is scrubbed and scored by the outer surface of the penetrator, and c) the anchor pin is both mechanically anchored in the borehole using the penetrator and chemically anchored using the mixed chemical anchoring adhesive.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a security zipper and bag, or one-time closable zipper and bag, and methods of manufacture thereof, wherein the zipper includes double zipper profiles with a layer or strip of adhesive positioned between the two interlocking elements of one of the zipper profiles. Upon the one-time closing of the zipper, the adhesive secures the two double zipper profiles together and prevents a subsequent opening of the zipper or bag without leaving evidence of such opening, such as damage to the zipper or bag. Alternately, adhesive can be provided within the female profiles, with a liner over the adhesive to prevent premature activation.

摘要: A new and improved tier sheet comprises a three-layer laminated extrusion comprising outer layers of a suitable polypropylene homopolymer, and an inner core layer comprising a suitable polypropylene copolymer blended with a suitable elastomer selected from the group comprising SANTOPRENE®, KRATON®; ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA), and a thermoplastic olefin (TPO). By effectively incorporating the elastomer into the inner core layer of the three-layer laminated extrusion, the tier sheet is provided with the requisite amount of softness, elasticity, and resiliency so as to not only permit the multiplicity of cans to, in effect, form sufficiently deep impressions or depressions within the upper and lower tier sheets as the different tiers or layers of tier sheets and cans are disposed upon the transportation pallet within the tiered array comprising the palletized load such that movement of the individual cans with respect to the upper and lower tier sheets will effectively be restricted and prevented but, in addition, the tier sheet can dimensionally recover whereby the depressions and impressions will effectively disappear so as to thereby enable each tier sheet to be readied for use with respect to supporting and restraining new or additional sets of cans in connection with the formation of subsequent palletized loads. Furthermore, the outer layers will not readily delaminate from the inner core layer, and still further, the extrusion process results in the fact that the edge portions of the three-layer laminate are effectively sealed such that the three-layer tier sheet laminate will not readily absorb moisture.
