摘要： The instant invention provides a thermoplastic composition, method of producing the same, and articles made therefrom. The thermoplastic composition according to present invention comprises the melt blending product of: (A) from 55 to 95 percent by weight of a thermoplastic matrix comprising one or more thermoplastic polymers; and (B) from 5 to 45 percent by weight of a dispersed phase which comprises a crosslinked (meth)acrylate copolymer, wherein the (meth)acrylate copolymer comprises at least 95 percent by weight derived from methyl methacrylate units and from greater than zero to less than 0.5 percent by weight derived from one or more multifunctional cross-linking monomers and/or graft-linking agents; wherein the difference in refractive index between components (A) and (B) is greater than 0.08.

The thermoplastic composition according to present invention comprises the melt blending product of: (a) from 10 to 75 percent by weight of a continuous phase, based on the total weight of the thermoplastic composition, wherein said continuous phase comprises one or more thermoplastic polymers; and (b) from 25 to 90 percent by weight of a dispersed phase comprising one or more core/shell polymer particles, based on the total weight of the thermoplastic composition, wherein said one or more core/shell polymer particles comprise a crosslinked elastomer core and a thermoplastic shell and wherein said core/shell polymer has an average particle size diameter in the range of from 70 to 10,000 nm.

摘要： The invention relates to the preparation of a divided solid composition comprising a talc powder at least a fraction of which consists of grains of talc bonded together in the form of aggregates whose average size is greater than that of said grains of talc. As well as being highly compatible with a large number of thermoplastic resins and having a high talc content, at least of the order of 75%, a divided solid composition obtained according to the invention can be dispersed into fine talc particles in thermoplastic materials during the shaping of these thermoplastic materials (processes with low shear, such as injection moulding, extrusion of sheets/films, etc.) using conventional techniques and equipment. The invention accordingly permits the production of thermoplastic articles loaded with talc without having to use expensive composites (or compounds).
