摘要: An exposure control device for camera includes a detector for detecting the opening of a sector shutter. By detecting an actual opening of the sector shutter, an amount of incremental exposure is calculated based on the opening and the corresponding time interval. Such amount is accumulated to provide an accumulated value. An amount of proper exposure is determined on the basis of photographing information including the brightness of an object being photographed and a film speed. The sector shutter is controlled in accordance with the accumulated value and the amount of proper exposure.

摘要: Apparatus for exposure control/focus adjustment for a camera comprises an exposure controlling mechanism, a focus adjusting mechanism and a source of rotary drive. The drive from the source is transmitted through a differential gearing to the exposure controlling mechanism and the focus adjusting mechanism. The differential gearing is operated such that the transmission of the drive to either one of the exposure controlling mechanism and the focus adjusting mechanism is blocked while allowing the other mechanism to be driven.

摘要: A waterdrop-proof camera includes lens frames which are moved backward and forward relative to an optical axis during zooming or focusing; a camera main body in which the lens frames are slidably held in a liquid-sealed state; vent holes, provided in positions where they will not be covered by the hand of a user, on either the wall surface of the camera main body or that of the lena frames, through which vent holes the inside of the camera is communicated with the outside thereof; and a sheet-like member, having sufficient water repellency and air permeability, arranged on the camera body containing the inner side of the vent holes so as to seal them. A sealing member formed from a elastic member is fixed to either one of first and second lens frames which move relative to each other, by which sealing member one of the lens frames is radially pressed against the other, so that a section between the two lens frames is waterproofed. In addition, a device is disposed for increasing the amount of pressure at a specific focal distance or in a state in which the lens frames are housed.

摘要: Provided herein is a unit and method to assist the driver with brake operation and to lessen the operation burden. This vehicle deceleration control unit is provided with an engine brake that decelerates the vehicle by putting the vehicle in a state in which the power source is driven from the driven side, and when the driver holds brake operation, the deceleration caused by the engine brake is increased at a first rate. Then, once a predetermined time has elapsed after increasing the deceleration at the rise-up rate, the deceleration is increased from the deceleration at that time further at a second rate that is less than the Rise-up rate. Further, when the driver is increasing or decreasing the brake operation, i.e., does not hold the brake operation, the deceleration due to the engine brake is maintained.

摘要: A modified region is accurately formed at a desirable position with respect to a laser light irradiation surface of an object to be processed. When an average difference γ has a value exceeding a predetermined threshold during trace recording, a particle segment Z including a line segment S where the average difference γ exceeds the predetermined threshold is defined. This determines that a particle exists on a line to cut 5 and randomly reflects measuring laser light, whereby a segment where the presence of the particle affects a control signal in a line segment to cut is detected as the particle segment Z. Correcting the control signal in the particle segment Z inhibits a converging lens from moving more than necessary because of an error included in the signal value under the influence of the presence of the particle, thus allowing the converging point of the processing laser light to accurately follow a front face 3.

摘要: There is provided a measuring apparatus, including a light receiving element, provided at a position facing a measurement object region on which is placed a measurement object, which forms an image with light from the measurement object region, light emitting elements, arranged surrounding the light receiving element, which emit light for measuring the measurement object, and reflective optical elements, provided above the light emitting elements, which guide, to the measurement object region, emission light radiated from the light emitting elements. A light receiving surface of the light receiving element and light emission surfaces of the light emitting elements are positioned mutually on a same plane. The emission light radiated from the light emitting elements is reflected by the reflective optical elements, and center lines of the emission light radiated from each of the light emitting elements pass through an approximate center of the measurement object region.

摘要: A laser processing method which can reduce the chipping generated when a plate-like object to be processed formed with a modified region is turned into small pieces in steps other than its dividing step. In a part extending along a line to cut in an object to be processed, laser light is oscillated in a pulsing fashion in an intermediate portion including an effective part, and is continuously oscillated in one end portion and the other end portion on both sides of the intermediate portion. Since the laser light intensity becomes lower in continuous oscillation than in pulse oscillation, modified regions can be formed in the intermediate portion but not in one end portion and the other end portion. This keeps the modified regions from reaching the outer face of the substrate, thus making it possible to prevent particles from occurring when forming the modified regions.
