摘要： A highly efficient impeller apparatus for mixing concentrated oxygen in a liquid-filled pond, pool or lagoon. The downward and outward direction of liquid flow, coupled with optimally small bubbles produced through injection holes in tubes mounted on the impeller blades, optimizes the absorption of oxygen by the liquid. A rigid shroud surrounding the impeller constrains the liquid motion to axial, rather than radial, flow to ensure efficient mixing and minimize the electrical load requirements. The impeller drive may powered by a solar panel and battery combination, or by electrical utility service, or by a combination thereof.

摘要： An apparatus for mixing a liquid and a gas in a tank includes a means for circulating the liquid in the tank and a sparge ring for dispersing gas into the tank. The circulating means includes a plurality of blades extending downwardly from a bottom surface of a disc so that rotation of the blades creates a suction area. The sparge ring introduces gas into the tank in a direction that bypasses the suction area to prevent the gas from flowing into the suction area. Preferably, the sparge ring has a discharge means with a radius that is larger than the distance from the center of the disc to the outer tips of the blades.

摘要： An apparatus and method are provided for mixing gas and liquid. An impeller is rotatably mounted inside a draft tube having a constricted section. Rotation of the impeller draws liquid down through the constricted portion of the draft tube. A gas delivery system introduces gas under the surface of the liquid downstream from the constricted portion of the draft tube to entrain the gas in the liquid by a venturi effect. The impeller creates a turbulent gas-liquid mixing zone and also projects liquid radially into the gas as it enters the draft tube. The gas-liquid venturi mixer is particularly suitable for treating industrial and municipal waste water, as well as various other liquids. Gases such as air, oxygen, hydrogen, and the like are efficiently dissolved in such liquids during operation of the gas-liquid venturi mixer.

The lower edges of the blades have a circular plate secure thereto, having a central circular opening for input of fluid to inner ends of the blades. A sparge ring is disposed about the periphery of the agitator for ejecting a gas into output of fluid at the periphery of the agitator in an area spaced from the input area of the agitator, which is limited by use of the circular plate.
