    摘要: A device for aeration, particularly for microbiological fermentation and for cell cultivation in a closed chamber. The device includes a sterilizable reactor (1) and a vertical stirring shaft (2) with numerous aeration and/or stirring elements (10) which are attached thereto and arranged in multiple levels vertically. The aeration elements (15) are constructed to create such an aeration of the liquid in the reactor that the gases are evenly introduced into the liquid as micro bubbles. The device also includes a recoil nozzles (20) connected to gas feed channels (11, connected to gas feed channels (11,12) connected to gas feed channels (11, 12, 14) for the purpose of driving the aeration and/or stirring elements (10) attached to the rotatably mounted stirring shaft (2). The result is a space-saving and absolutely hermetic construction of such a device.

    摘要: The invention relates to a stirring arrangement having a rotating stirring body (2) for stirring fluids. The stirring body (2) has stirring blades (4) attached on a stirring body hub (3). The stirring body further includes a gas supply device (5) supplying a gas, such as air, for dispersing with the stirring body (2). The gas supply device (5) includes a distribution bushing (6) which rotates with the hub (3) of the stirring body (2) and has an interior for receiving the gas. The distribution bushing (6) and the interior thereof are in fluid communication with co-rotating outlet lines (7). Outlet openings of the outlet lines (7) are disposed in the immediate vicinity of the stirring blades (4) and within the volume swept by the stirring body (2) or in the immediate outflow zones, and discharge the gas at respective desired locations in the corresponding desired flow direction.

    摘要: A rotor for use in a slurry separation flotation cell having a tank within which the rotor is contained. The rotor has a shaft that has a conduit adapted to communicate a fluid, preferably a gas such as air, therethrough. The rotor also has impeller blades extending radially from the shaft and a baffle adjacent the bottom of the impeller blades. The baffle extends from an end of the shaft to at or near an outer edge of the impeller blades, directing the gas to the outer edges of the impeller blades for dispersion into the slurry. The rotor is located adjacent a floor of the tank and, in use, draws slurry downwards into the impeller portion and forces it outwards with the gas being mixed therein.
