Abstract:
A media disc storage container comprises a body portion (1) with a front section (2) and a back section (3). A hinge section (4) is integral with the front section and the back section via elongated edge portions formed of flexible material. A first printed design (24) is printed onto the outer side of a media disc information sheet (14) and is oriented to be viewed through the media disc information sheet. A barrier layer (27) is provided on top of said first printed design, and a second printed design (28) is provided on top of the barrier layer and is oriented to be viewed from outside the media disc storage container.
Abstract:
A storage container includes a lid having a lid panel and an arm extending from the lid panel, the arm including a detent having a first surface parallel to the lid panel and a second surface having a taper extending at least a portion between the first surface and a distal end of the arm, and a base configured to receive a disc, the base having a base panel and a member extending from the base panel, the member having an opening defined by an interior surface having a portion thereof parallel to the base panel, the first surface of the detent engaging the interior surface portion of the member when the storage container is closed. Abstract:
A packaging apparatus includes a flexible insert and a sealable wrapper. The flexible insert includes: a body having a first face and a second face opposite the first face; a first flap at a first edge of the body; and a second flap at a second edge of the body, the second edge located opposite the first edge. The sealable wrapper includes: a first panel; and a second panel. The sealable wrapper is sized to enclose the flexible insert. The first face of the body of the flexible insert is configured to engage the first panel of the sealable wrapper upon insertion of the flexible insert to the sealable wrapper. The first and second flaps are configured to, upon the insertion, swing from the body of the flexible insert to engage the second panel of the sealable wrapper such that a thickness of the packaging apparatus becomes substantially uniform.
Abstract:
A storage case of storing optical digital data storage media, the case including a cover with a defined area therein that permits transmission of certain energy to the medium stored therein while the area of the cover outside of the defined area does not.

Abstract:
The clam shell container is formed by a cover formed of cardboard, chipboard or other similar material. A thermoform plastic tray is adhered to the inner surface of the cover to form the completed clam shell container. When closed, the edges of the tray move closer to the edges of the cover. The thermoform is bonded to the tray with adhesive and the container is closed to allow the adhesive to cure in the closed configuration. When opened, stress is created by the tray being fixed to the cover. To alleviate the stress, perforations between the tray sections and the spine break forming three distinct sections. In the open configuration, a small gap is created between the tray section and the spine.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A disk holder comprising means for attaching to a disk storage device and means for holding to a support surface, wherein there is a rotary joint between the storage device and the support surface. A method for holding disks comprising the following steps: A, forming a holding means for attaching to a support surface; B, attaching the holding means to a storage device through a rotary joint.
Abstract:
A literature clip for a media storage container holds thin and thick booklets. In one embodiment, the invention provides a clip that has a first position for thin booklets and a second position for thick booklets. In both of these positions, the clip is resilient to hold booklets of different thicknesses.
