摘要: An aircraft interior assembly comprising a fixed element, a sliding element movable between a lockable position and a released position, and a latch mechanism. The latch mechanism comprises a locking arm, mounted on one of the fixed element and the sliding element, which is rotatable around a rotating axis between a locked position and an unlocked position. The latch mechanism further comprises an engagement plate, mounted on the other of the fixed element and the sliding element. When the sliding element is in the lockable position and the locking arm is in the locked position, the locking arm contacts the engagement plate to prevent the sliding element moving out of the lockable position. Conversely, when the sliding element is in the lockable position and the locking arm is in the unlocked position, the locking arm is not in contact with the engagement plate, and the sliding element is free to move out of the lockable position.

摘要: A Trunk-lid Tie-down arrangement holds a car trunk lid or hatch lift-gate at a partly open position for transporting an oversize package or other large cargo piece. One component is an insert plate formed stainless steel or another suitably strong rigid material, with a pair of eye openings. The second component is a length of a cordage or rope, favorably ten feet long. One of the eye opening is inserted into the vehicle's latch for the lid or lift gate and is held there. The cordage extends from the other eye opening and can be tied to the hasp for the locking latch. At the delivery destination, the insert plate is removed by unlocking the lid or hatch gate, and the package can be removed.

摘要: A multipoint lock is described. The multipoint lock includes a main latch. The main latch has a latched position where the main latch is configured to extend a first distance from an unhinged edge of a door panel. The main latch is configured to be retractable toward the unhinged edge of the door panel by rotation of a latch drive hub in each of a clockwise direction and a counterclockwise direction relative to a first side of the door panel. The multipoint lock also includes at least one auxiliary latch and a deadbolt drive hub. Rotation of the deadbolt drive hub substantially simultaneously actuates the main latch and the at least one auxiliary latch.
