    摘要: An amplifier system an amplified path and a bypass path for carrying an RF signal. A switch in the amplified system routes the RF signal through the amplified path in response to a normal condition in the amplifier system, and routes the RF signal through the bypass path in response to an abnormal condition in the amplifier system. The amplified path includes an amplified forward circuit and a return circuit. The amplified forward circuit has an amplifier, and the return circuit has a return amplifier and detection circuitry for providing power to the return amplifier. The detection circuitry provides power to the return amplifier in response to a normal condition in the return circuit, and removes power from the return amplifier in response to an abnormal condition in the return circuit.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an integrated input/output interface for low and/or high voltage range signals of the digital and/or analog type. It comprises essentially a power amplification circuit block (2) having at least one low voltage range input terminal (A) and at least one high voltage range output terminal (B), and a second amplification circuit block (3) having a high voltage range input terminal connected to said high voltage range output terminal (B) and at least one low voltage range output terminal (D). A conventional circuit block (4) prevents a high voltage range signal being input to said high voltage range terminal (B) from propagating through the first power amplification circuit block (2), so that it only affects the second amplification circuit block (3). This interface is implemented in mixed high voltage bipolar/CMOS/DMOS technology.

    摘要: A transformerless bidirectional amplifier useful in a balanced two wire to single wire line circuit, which blocks common mode signals and allows full control of signal levels, impedances, etc. A differential amplifier circuit is connected to the balanced wires, and has its output connected through a buffer amplifier to a single unbalanced wire. A second differential amplifier has its respective input terminals connected to the input and output of the buffer amplifier. The output of the second differential amplifier is connected to one of the balanced wires, and through a resistor to one of the inputs of the first differential amplifier which is connected to the other of the two balanced wires. The value of the latter resistor is such as to apply sufficient output signal from the second differential amplifier to the first differential amplifier so as to cancel a signal from the second differential amplifier which is applied to the first differential amplifier via the first wire of the balanced pair. The second differential amplifier exhibits different gains for the respective two signals applied to its individual inputs which are from the output of the first differential amplifier, whereby they are cancelled.
