摘要: Disclosed are methods and apparatuses for image data encoding/decoding. A method of decoding an image includes receiving a bitstream in which the image is encoded; obtaining index information for specifying a block division type of a current block in the image; and determining the block division type of the current block from a candidate group pre-defined in the decoding apparatus. The candidate group includes a plurality of candidate division types, including at least one of a non-division, a first quad-division, a second quad-division, a binary-division or a triple-division. The method also includes dividing the current block into a plurality of sub-blocks; and decoding each of the sub-blocks with reference to syntax information obtained from the bitstream.

摘要: A device for decoding encoded mesh data determines, based on the encoded mesh data, a base mesh; determine, based on the encoded mesh data, a set of coefficients; receives in the encoded mesh data a quantization parameter value; determines an inverse scaling factor based on the quantization parameter value; performs an inverse scaling, based on the inverse scaling factor and using integer precision arithmetic, on the set of coefficients to determine a set of de-quantized coefficients; determines a displacement vector based on the set of de-quantized coefficients; deforms the base mesh based on the displacement vector to determine a decoded mesh; and outputs the decoded mesh.

摘要: A device for decoding encoded mesh data can be configured to determine, based on the encoded mesh data, a base mesh; determine, based on the encoded mesh data, a set of coefficients; receive in the encoded mesh data a quantization parameter value; receive in the encoded mesh data a bit depth offset value; determine an inverse scaling factor based on the quantization parameter value and the bit depth offset value; perform an inverse scaling on the set of coefficients based on the inverse scaling factor to determine a set of de-quantized coefficients; determine a displacement vector based on the set of de-quantized coefficients; deform the base mesh based on the displacement vector to determine a decoded mesh; and output the decoded mesh.

摘要: Providing backward compatibility in terms of a media bitstream and a media player conforming to different versions of a media bitstream syntax specification. In one embodiment, a bitstream is made backward compatible by including in the bitstream a first entry for a feature available in the media bitstream and second entry for an updated feature available in the media bitstream, where the first entry is understood both by a media player supporting a first version of a syntax specification and a media player supporting an updated version of the syntax specification, and the second entry is understood by the media player supporting the updated version of the syntax specification, but is not understood by the media player supporting the first version of the syntax specification.
