摘要: A system and method of providing caller identification (ID) over a public switched telephone network (PSTN). For outbound calls, the system and method enable a caller to provide a caller ID that differs from the native caller ID of their mobile phone. The system and method enable multiple phones tied to a single account to display the same caller ID for outbound calls. For forwarded inbound calls, such as calls being forwarded from an office, the system and method inform the recipient of the identification of the call as well as that the call is being forwarded. The system and method enable the recipient to have calls forwarded from more than one number and identify the identity of the caller as well as the specific number the call is being forwarded from.

摘要: A system comprises an applications server configured to communicatively couple to a softswitch, a resource server, and a database. The applications server is configured to receive, from the softswitch, an indication that a call from a calling party directed to a called number was received and determine, in response to the indication that the call was received, whether to route the call to an available agent or to a speech-enabled intelligent script associated with one of the called number or the calling party. The applications server is configured to instruct the softswitch to route the call to the speech-enabled intelligent script in response to a determination to route the call to the speech-enabled intelligent script. 摘要: A method performed for handling an ongoing communication session with a remote party in a communication network is provided. A user is associated with a set of User Equipments, UEs, in a single user subscription. The set of UEs includes at least a first UE and a second UE. The ongoing communication session with the remote party involves the first UE. For each respective UE out of the set of UEs, information is obtained. The information is related to the respective UE's name recognizable by the user, communication capabilities, and communication session status. A user indication is obtained. The user indication is based on the received information. The indication indicates to transfer the ongoing communication session with the remote party. According to the indication, a network node is requested to transfer the ongoing communication session from the first UE to the second UE.

摘要: A system for screening and routing incoming phone calls that includes an interceptor device which is operatively engaged with the phone and is arranged to receive all incoming calls to the phone. When an incoming call to the phone is received by the interceptor device, programming provided in the interceptor device compares a phone number associated with the incoming call with a list of stored contact phone numbers. The phone is caused to ring if the phone number associated with originating the incoming call matches one of the stored contact phone numbers. The incoming phone call is disconnected if the phone number associated with originating the incoming call fails to match any of the stored contact phone numbers. The incoming call is routed to a known or designated contact from the stored contact phone numbers.

摘要: A system, method and computer-readable medium for allowing the use of an alternative numbering plan for delivering short messages to mobile subscribers using the public mobile telephone network is provided. Users of an enterprise or other closed networks as well as users that are not part of a closed network may send short messages destined to members of an enterprise or closed network from their mobile or other devices associated with their subscription using an alternative enterprise directory number, such as the office number, instead of the mobile number, such that the alternative number will be presented at the destination device as the originating number. The recipient may respond to the message by addressing the response to the enterprise or closed network number, and the response may be delivered to the originator’s mobile or other device associated with their subscription.

The management apparatus may transmit, to the reference terminal and the service terminals, a receipt report message reporting the call was forwarded. According to a change receipt message or upon non-receipt by an intended terminal, the call may be reforwarded to another terminal.
