Abstract: A first mobile device exchanges information or documentation with a second mobile device after a vehicular incident or collision has occurred. Communication is initiated or triggered based on detection of the incident by a collision detection system and/or based on the first mobile device contactlessly receiving a user identifier from the second mobile device. The contactless communication may be initiated by a service provider system or by the first mobile device. The first mobile device may include a sensor that scans a user identifier associated with the second mobile device. Then, the first mobile device may transmit the user identifier to the service provider system, which initiates or provides a communication channel between the first mobile device and the second mobile device.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to analyzing data related to smart home activity that is useful to risk analysis, service cost determination/adjustment, and behavioral incentivization. A monitoring system may acquire maintenance information, contextual information, and/or financial information with minimal user input to assess risk associated with user behavior and home activity associated with a smart home. Based on generating a risk factor associated with the smart home, the monitoring system may provide a user with an accurate service cost (e.g., home insurance quote) related to the smart home activity.

Abstract: An amusement park access control system includes an amusement park area having an entrance. A unified access control device is positioned at the entrance and is configured to control guest access into the amusement park area. The unified access control device includes sensor modules and an access control module physically connected to one another to form a unified structure. The sensor modules scan the entrance to determine guest identification data. An access control computer system is communicatively coupled to the unified access control device and includes databases storing guest enrollment data and entitlement data associated with the guest enrollment data. The unified access control device identifies entitlements associated with the guest identification data based on a comparison between the guest identification data, the guest enrollment data, and the entitlement data, and controls guest access through the entrance based on the identified entitlements.

Abstract: A method may include receiving, via a first computing node of a cluster of computing nodes in a container orchestration system, a pod from a second computing node in the cluster of computing nodes. The method may also involve retrieving an image file that includes containers from a registry, such that the pod detail an indication of a location of the image file in the registry. The method then involves generating a package based on the one or more containers and one or more mapped commands implementable by a control system in an operational technology (OT) domain. The mapped commands correspond to operations performable by the control system that corresponds to commands specified in the containers. The method may then involve storing the package in a filesystem shared with the control system.

Abstract: A fan, comprising blades (102), an upper hub (111), and a lower hub (112). Each blade (102) comprises a connecting part (211). The connecting part (211) is clamped between a lower surface of the upper hub (111) and an upper surface of the lower hub (112). The lower surface of the upper hub (111) is provided with an upper hub connecting area, and the upper surface of the lower hub (112) is provided with a lower hub connecting area. An upper surface and a lower surface of the connecting part (211) are separately provided with a junction surface extending from the connecting part (211). The lower surface of the upper hub (111) and the upper surface of the lower hub (112) are separately provided with a matching surface matching the junction surface. The junction surface and the matching surface are arranged in the radial direction and/or circumferential direction of the upper hub (111) and the lower hub (112), and are configured to match with each other to impede the movement of at least two blades (102) in the circumferential direction and/or radial direction with respect to the upper hub (111) and the lower hub (112). The fan structure can prevent the movement of the blades (102) with respect to the upper hub (111) and the lower hub (112). The connecting part (211) and the fan body (201) are not easy to break and can be easily assembled, such that better stability can be ensured while the cost is low.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include systems and methods for securing a rider inside a ride vehicle of an amusement park ride. For example, the disclosed systems and methods include a restraint system (e.g., lap belt, harness, restraint bar (e.g., lap bar, shoulder bar), and the like) that includes a locking mechanism that is activated and deactivated remotely. The remote release locking mechanism includes redundant latches (e.g., a primary latch and at least one secondary, redundant latch) and encompasses a relatively small amount of components housed in a relatively small amount of space.

Abstract: This disclosure is directed towards systems and methods of power saving in electronic displays based on changing clock signal frequencies supplied to the gate-in-panel (GIP) circuitry during extended blanking modes of the electronic display. The display driver circuitry of the display may reduce and/or halt clock signal frequencies sent to GIP circuitry in the display, to reduce power output during extended blanking modes of the electronic display.

Abstract: A method may include receiving, via a processor, an indication that a user is performing one or more activities on a project code. The method may then involve receiving an insurance policy associated with the user and the project code in response to receiving the indication, monitoring the one or more activities performed on the project code by the user, and determining whether the one or more activities correspond to one or more expected activities associated with the insurance policy. The method may also include sending a notification indicative of one or more inconsistent activities to a user device in response to the one or more activities not corresponding to the one or more expected activities.
