摘要: A monitor device is configured to monitor a system, such as a utility system and/or appliance. The monitor device includes sensor(s) that measure characteristic(s) of the system, and data storage that stores parameter data that is provided from a remote service. The parameter data includes thresholds, signatures, and/or other information that describes a typical operational state of the system. The monitor device includes software that executes locally to compare current sensor data to the parameter data and determine whether the current operational state of the system is within the bounds of the typical state as defined by the parameter data. In instances where the current state is atypical, indicating a possible problem with the system, a notification can be sent describing the anomaly. The monitor device can also perform other action(s) to correct the problem or mitigate possible damage, and can operate autonomously if a network connection is unavailable.

摘要: Methods and systems described in this disclosure are directed to authentication of calling parties. The authentication of calling parties applies to simultaneous voice and/or data communications with multiple parties over multiple electronic mediums including a variety of electronic devices. A user can continue to maintain a data exchange session with a representative of an entity offering the goods or services of interest to the user across more than one user device. In some embodiments, a user can invite other parties in a multi-party call involving the user and the representative. Various embodiments for multi-party and multi-device authentication mechanisms are described herein. In some embodiments, the system calculates an estimated call waiting time for a user to speak with the representative.

摘要: A method of determining a physical location for an address. The method includes receiving from a first global positioning system on a vehicle a first set of global positioning data indicative of a vehicle location. The method may also receive from a second global positioning system on a portable electronic device a second set of global positioning data indicative of a portable electronic device location. The method may also receive a set of location metadata associated with a picture. The method determines a residence location from the first set of global positioning data, the second set of global positioning data, or the set of location metadata. The method then associates the physical location to the address.
