Abstract: The subject matter disclosed herein provides methods for distributing notifications to a user. The method can include receiving data encapsulating notifications from a device connected to a network that provide information relating to the device's status. The device can provide a health related treatment. The method can associate each notification with one or more notification categories relating to a function performed by the device or a location of the device. A table of users having one or more subscriptions to these notification categories can be accessed. The subscriptions can be automatically assigned to users based on the users' role. A user can be identified from the table to distribute the one or more notifications to. The user can have a subscription that matches a notification category of the received notifications, and data comprising the notifications can be distributed to the user. Related apparatus, systems, techniques, and articles are also described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the subject disclosure relate to a compounder system having a cartridge that includes fluid pathways controllable by valves of the cartridge. A pump component within the cartridge is actuable to move fluid through the controllable fluid pathways. The cartridge includes a backpack for management of tubing to couple the cartridge to a receiving container. A disposable waste container is contained by the cartridge and the backpack. A syringe holder is provided for use of a syringe as a receiving container to receive a compounded medication.

Abstract: Check valve assemblies for fluid flow sets and devices are provided. The check valve assembly includes an inlet body including a fluid inlet, first and second seal beads, and a central channel. An outlet body includes a fluid outlet and a stem having a centering post, the centering post received by the central channel of the inlet body. A seal includes inner and outer rings, wherein the inner ring is configured to engage with the first seal bead and the outer ring is configured to engage with the second seal bead in a fully sealed position of the check valve assembly. Fluid flow sets and methods for manufacturing check valve assemblies are also provided.

Abstract: An infusion pump includes first and pumping segments configured to operate in parallel with each other, each pumping segment including a group of serially-aligned pumping elements configured to compress an elongated compressible channel loaded within the pumping segment. Each group of serially aligned pumping elements of the multiple pumping segments is caused to pump according to respective timing patterns offset from each other to deliver a first fluid from a first compressible channel loaded in the first pumping segment to a common delivery tubing while filling a second compressible channel loaded in the second pumping segment with a second fluid, and to deliver the second fluid from second compressible channel to the common delivery conduit while filling the first compressible channel using the first pumping segment.

Abstract: A needle-free connector assembly is provided that includes a main housing coupled to an indicator housing. A plunger is coupled to a bellows disposed in the main housing. An inlet port is disposed at an upstream end of the indicator housing and an outlet port is disposed at a downstream end of the main housing, with a valve disposed within the indicator housing and adjacent the inlet port. A switch member is slidingly disposed in the main housing, wherein the needle-free connector assembly provides both flow regulation and pressure indication when the switch member is in a downstream position and only pressure indication when the switch member is in an upstream position. Infusion sets and methods of operating a needle-free connector are also provided.

Abstract: An electronic medication storage cabinet includes a plurality of drawers configured with a plurality of sensors arranged to identify a positioning of storage pockets within the drawers. Upon receiving an indication of a new medicine container to be loaded in the cabinet, a sequence of steps to load the medicine container into the cabinet is generated based on a mapping algorithm. A first step is displayed on a display the cabinet, and a determination is made as to whether the first step is associated with one of the plurality of drawers. In response to determining that the first step is associated with one of the plurality of drawers, the drawer is automatically unlocked. In response to determining that the first step is successfully completed, a determination of whether execution of any additional steps is pending and indicated on the display.

Abstract: A clamp is provided. The clamp includes a flexible uniform body. The flexible uniform body includes an aperture configured to allow a tubing to pass through the flexible uniform body. The aperture is configured to allow unrestricted flow of a fluid within the tubing when the tubing is at a first position of the aperture and restrict the flow of the fluid within the tubing when the tubing is at a second position of the aperture. The flexible uniform body includes an engageable coupling mechanism disposed at a first portion of the flexible uniform body. The coupling mechanism is configured to, when engaged, cover at least a portion of the release point of the aperture such that the tubing is locked in place within the pinch point of the aperture.

Abstract: Syringe assemblies are described herein. A syringe assembly includes an assembly housing, a first syringe, a second syringe, and a connecting gear. The first syringe is disposed within the assembly housing. Each plunger is movable within the respective syringe cavity and defines a respective chamber in the respective syringe cavity, wherein the respective chamber is in fluid communication with the respective syringe port, the respective plunger comprising a respective gear rack extending longitudinally along the respective plunger. The connecting gear is rotatably coupled to the assembly housing. The connecting gear is configured to be in meshed engagement with at least one of the first gear rack and the second gear rack of the syringes.
