    摘要: Deriving a motion vector of a current block, in a current frame, including: generating a motion vector predictor candidate list including a set of first motion vectors and a second motion vector, wherein a first motion vector of the set belongs to a block adjacent to the current block in the current frame, and the second motion vector is a temporal motion vector of a pixel at a modified position (x′, y′) in a previous frame, the modified position (x′, y′) being derived by modifying a top-left position (x, y) of the current block. The method also includes deriving the modified position (x′, y′) using arithmetic shift operations; setting the second motion vector equal to a motion vector at the modified position (x′, y′) of the pixel in the previous frame; and deriving the motion vector of the current block using a motion vector predictor and a difference motion vector.

The system may include an electronic device configured to obtain a bit stream; determine whether to decode level information of the sub-block of a block from the bit stream by using a first or a second decoding based on a characteristic of the sub-block; if the characteristic of the sub-block satisfies a predetermined condition, decoding level information of the sub-block from the bit stream by using the first decoding, and if the characteristic of the sub-block does not satisfy the predetermined condition, decoding level information of the sub-block from the bit stream by using the second decoding that is different from the first decoding.

The image decoder can generate a color space prediction by scaling a color space of the first image from the first image format into a color space corresponding to a second image format. The image decoder includes an enhancement layer to decode the encoded video stream to generate a second image in the second image format based, at least in part, on the color space prediction.

    摘要: Aspects of the present invention relate to systems and methods for intra prediction. According to one aspect of the present invention, a macroblock may be partitioned into two, or more, sets of blocks. The pixel values for a block within a first set of blocks may be predicted using reconstructed values from only neighboring macroblocks. The pixel values for a block within another set of blocks may be subsequently predicted using reconstructed values from blocks in previously reconstructed sets of blocks and/or reconstructed values from neighboring macroblocks. The pixel values for blocks within a set of blocks may be predicted in parallel.
