Abstract:
A vehicle door drain slot plug includes a base portion having opposing sides and opposing ends, the base portion being adapted to substantially cover the drain slot. First and second snap-tabs extend from the base portion near the opposing ends on one of the sides for securing the base portion with respect to the slot. A plurality of stand-off members extend from the one side of the base portion and are spaced about the periphery of the base portion for engaging the vehicle door to create a gap between the base portion and the vehicle door in order to allow water to drain out of the slot.
Abstract:
A token operated control system for use with a multitrack tape cartridge player which enables a priori manual selection of a single track from one or more tape cartridge players for reproduction and which provides automatic termination of track reproduction at the end of a given track. Interruption of track reproduction, once reproduction has begun, is prevented by the control system circuitry. The control system is compatible with several commercially available eight-track tape cartridge tape players and includes additional circuitry for sequentially arriving at a single track of a given cartridge player unit specified by manual operation of panel switches after the insertion of a token, e.g., a coin.
Abstract:
A high energy laser (HEL) weapon system for counter-UAS (C-UAS) use comprises a fully self-contained laser system including a power supply, thermal management, high-capacity batteries, and integrated radar and electronic warfare subsystems.
Abstract:
Concepts and technologies are described herein for transforming data to create layouts. In accordance with the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, a computing device can execute a layout generator. The computing device can be configured to receive or retrieve data that includes visual content such as an image and other content such as text. The computing device can analyze the visual content to identify a salient region and/or an invariant region within the visual content. The computing device can access designs for laying out visual content and other content based upon an identified salient region and/or invariant region. The computing device can evaluate the designs to determine if a design matches the data. The computing device can load the data into the selected design to generate the layout.
Abstract:
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for efficiently organizing one or more images in a display. The display may comprise one or more display lines, such as display rows or display columns. Images can be selected sequentially from an image database and scaled to fill into a display line, at least until a selected image does not fit. If the selected image does not fit, a cropping amount can be determined for the images in the display line, including the image that does not fit, and the images can be proportionally cropped accordingly. The cropping amount can comprise merely enough display space to accommodate a cropped version of the image that does not fit into the display line. The cropped version of the image can then be filled into the display line, and, if available, a next display line can similarly be populated.
Abstract:
The present application provides a non-dispersive infrared gas sensor. The non-dispersive infrared gas sensor may include an infrared source, an infrared detector, and a waveguide extending about the infrared source and the infrared detector. The waveguide may include a reflective diffuser thereon.
Abstract:
The invention provides for systems, methods, and compositions for manipulation of sequences and/or activities of target sequences. Provided are vectors and vector systems, some of which encode one or more components of a CRISPR complex, as well as methods for the design and use of such vectors. Also provided are methods of directing CRISPR complex formation in eukaryotic cells and methods for selecting specific cells by introducing precise mutations utilizing the CRISPR/Cas system.
Abstract:
Concepts and technologies are described herein for an abstract relational model for transforming data into consumable content. In accordance with the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, a computing device can execute a transformation engine for transforming data into the consumable content. The computing device can be configured to generate an abstract relational model from data to analyze the data and to identify relationships within data elements or other portions of the data. The computing device also can determine a visualization model to apply to the data and to choose a world based upon the determined visualization model. The computing device can obtain rules associated with the selected or chosen world, and can apply the rules to the data to generate the output. In some embodiments, the computing device can be configured to obtain and apply feedback to the output.
Abstract:
A system that enables a wireless point-of-sale transaction. In one embodiment the system comprises an account module, an account selection module, a display, an input interface, and a wireless transmitter. The account module stores account information corresponding to a plurality of payment accounts. The account selection module selects a payment account from the plurality of payment accounts as a default payment account for a wireless point-of-sale transaction based on one or more predetermined criteria. The display displays the default payment account to a user. The input interface enables the user to accept the default payment account by the account selection module. The wireless transmitter that wirelessly transmits payment information to a point-of-sale device, wherein the payment information comprises account information associated with the default account when the default payment account is accepted via the input interface.
