Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) in non-planar technology to provide a robust ESD protection in System on Chip employing non-planar technologies. The disclosed SCR incorporates wire or fin shaped nanostructures extending from p-type tap to cathode, from the cathode to anode, and from the anode to n-type tap to provide parallel trigger paths to prevent problem of current crowding at the base emitter junction that limits efficient turn-on in conventional SCRs. The proposed structure helps in offering lower trigger and holding voltage, and therefore very high failure currents. The disclosed SCR has sub-3V trigger and holding voltage to provide an efficient and robust ESD protection in SOCs. The proposed device also offers three times better ESD robustness per unit area. Further the proposed SCR has no added capacitive loading and is compatible with standard process flow and design rules.

The present invention is in relation to a synchronous buck converter comprising gate driver circuit, incorporated with passive elements for conversion of unipolar voltage produced by a standard gate driver to a bipolar voltage along with bootstrap technique to drive the normally on metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor.
Abstract:
An electrochemically active device is provided for collecting and retaining a blood sample with at least a two-electrode member connected to conductive tracks. A receptor with an integral receptor-membrane arranged on the two-electrode member, to receive non-electrochemically active heamoglobin bioanalyte and its complexes from red blood cells (RBC) of said blood sample, through a lysing agent and convert the non-electrochemically active heamoglobin bioanalyte and its complexes, into an electrochemically active bioanalyte and its electrochemically active complexes. The present invention also provides a point-of-care biosensor incorporated with the device of the present invention and method of measuring for the detection and quantitative measurement of concentrations of haemoglobin (Hb), glycated haemoglobin (GHb), methaemoglobin (MetHb) and myoglobin, in reduced volumes of blood samples, by determining redox current values in the reduced volumes of blood samples.

The invention is for an increased isoprenoid production by carotenoid optimization in an expression system and the carotegenic gene for optimization may be geranylgeranyl diphosphate synthase (GGPPS), phytoene synthase (PSY1), conserved CRTI or mutated CRT1A393T, BT1 of S. cerevisae. The carotogenic gene from red yeast which includes Rhodosporidium spp. Rhodotorula spp, Sporidiobolus spp., Leucosporidium spp., Sporobolomyes spp. is selected.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to aluminum based alloys and a method for producing the aluminium based alloys. The method comprises acts of, casting of the aluminium based alloy in a chilled casting mould. Then, aging the cast aluminium based alloy at a first predetermined temperature for a first predetermined time. The aging results in the formation of a first precipitate. Followed by this, solutionizing the aluminium based alloy at a second predetermined temperature for a second predetermined time such that the major alloying element is dissolved in aluminium matrix without much affecting the first precipitate. Then, aging the aluminium based alloy at a third predetermined temperature for a third predetermined time. The aging results in the formation of a second precipitate.
Abstract:
The invention provides a method for detection of hazardous chemicals in a non-metallic container. The method comprises of irradiating the sample at a predefined location with an electromagnetic radiation of specific wavelength; selectively capturing a certain component of the scattered electromagnetic radiation to obtain a plurality of profiles; and filtering the profiles to obtain a signature specific to at least one hazardous chemical present in the container. The invention provides a system for obtaining a signature specific to the hazardous chemicals in the container.
Abstract:
A system using cooperative communication with rateless codes is presented that uses communication transmission aspects of cooperative communication with rateless codes over Rayleigh fading channels and queuing aspects for buffering messages at intermediate relays. The system transmits a subsequent message while a current message is en route to the destination by receiving and buffering the current message in queues at intermediate relays. A relay with a best instantaneous communication link to the source may receive a message first and forward the received message to the destination. Alternatively, if inter-relay communication links are strong, all relays may cooperate simultaneously.
Abstract:
A machine learning method includes estimating a degree of improvement of an evaluation metric related to a machine learning model, the improvement being to be obtained on a condition that the machine learning model is configured to be trained based on combination of training data in a training data set, selecting a pair of training data from the training data set based on the estimated degree, generating other training data based on the selected pair of training data, and training the machine learning model based on the other training data and the training data set, using a processor.
