Abstract:
A method for evaluating an anti-contamination level on a surface of optical recording medium is disclosed. The method includes forming an artificial fingerprint on the surface by contacting a stamp having an artificial material adhered thereto on an optical recording medium, and measuring a symbol error rate (SER) of the formed artificial fingerprint, to determine a sensitivity of the fingerprint and determining whether the optical recording medium is of good quality or bad quality depending upon the measured SER.
Abstract:
The disclosure includes a system, device, apparatus and programmed medium of measuring thickness of an optical disc by using an interference effect of the optical disc layer. Such a system can include: a spectroscope to separate light, reflected from a surface of an optical disc, into constituent frequencies thereof; an optical intensity measuring unit to measure intensities of the constituent frequencies, respectively, as a first spectrum of data; and a processor to do at least the following, convert the first spectrum data into a second spectrum of values that exhibits variation as a function wavelength and refractive index, transform the second spectrum using a Fast Fourier Transform, and detect a thickness of one or more of the spacer layer and the cover layer, respectively, based upon the transformed spectrum. The disclosed technologies have advantages for high precisely measuring thickness of an optical disc.
Abstract:
The present invention provides the multiuser Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems with a feedback method which includes measuring, at the terminal, received Signal to Noise Ratios (SNRs) for all transmit antennas, selecting one of precoding matrixes, which has best SNRs, retrieving an index mapped to the selected preceding matrix from a predetermined mapping table, and transmitting the index with the SNRs of the selected precoding matrix. In the present invention, it is possible to reduce feedback information amount without degradation of the sum rate performance of the system since the feedback information is transmitted in a form of index implying appropriate precoding matrix and corresponding SNRs.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for performing beamforming for transmitting a plurality of bit streams output through Adaptive Modulation and Coding (AMC) via a plurality of transmission antennas in a base station using a multi-antenna scheme. The apparatus and method include classifying the plurality of transmission antennas into a plurality of transmission antenna groups; selecting one of the transmission antenna groups depending on a group selection signal being fed back from a mobile station; and outputting each of the bit streams to its associated transmission antenna among the transmission antennas constituting the selected transmission antenna group.
Abstract:
The present invention is an electrolyte for a lithium ion rechargeable battery and a lithium ion rechargeable battery that includes the same. More particularly, the present invention discloses an electrolyte for a lithium ion rechargeable battery that provides excellent cycle life characteristics and high-temperatures storage stability and prevents a drop in discharge capacity of a battery at low temperature, and a lithium ion rechargeable battery including the same. The lithium ion rechargeable battery including the electrolyte provides improved cycle life characteristics and prevents the problems of a drop in discharge capacity at low temperature and high-temperature swelling through the formation of a stable SEI film at the initial charge cycle.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a hair growth promoting agent comprising a cyclosporin derivative as an active ingredient, and more particularly, a hair growth promoting agent comprising a cyclosporin A derivative substituted in the 3-position as an active ingredient.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a sticker member for a graphic and text health warning labels on the front and back sides of a cigarette pack at the same time, the sticker member comprising: a rectangular cigarette pack sticker which is attached to the top surface of a cigarette pack and attached to a portion from the top surface up to at least a part of each of the front and back sides of the cigarette pack; an adhesive material formed on the back side of the cigarette pack sticker; and a release paper which protects the adhesive material and has an attachment position guide formed at the central portion thereof and opened by a user so as to guide the top surface of the cigarette pack to the attachment position on the back side of the cigarette pack sticker.
Abstract:
A box holder comprises: a pair of T-frames arranged parallel to face opposite directions, each T-frame having a crossbar and a stem, each edge of the T-frame being bent downward to form a vertical bracket; U-shaped extensions formed at open edges of the T-frame, each end of the U-shaped extensions being connected to the vertical bracket; and reinforcement elements formed along the crossbars of the T-frames.
Abstract:
A prone cushion having at least one layer of material, a neck portion, and a torso portion being designed to support a user who is reclining in a prone position. The prone cushion may be adapted to have an upper layer and a bottom layer. The prone cushion my have a leg cavity for storing a height adjustment leg. The height adjustment leg may be stowed in the leg cavity when not in use, or may be placed under the prone cushion to adjust the height while in use. The density of the cushion may vary along the length of the cushion by inserting a plurality of holes into the at least one layer of material.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a protection net apparatus fixed to a baby chair having a tray, comprises: a plurality of net supporting parts fixed to different positions of the tray and each including a clamp portion fixing the net supporting part to the tray; and a supporting rod portion coupled to the clamp portion and extending outwards; a net part including a net with an edge having an inner edge, an outer edge located on an opposite side of the inner edge, and lateral edges each connecting between ends of the inner edge and the outer edge; and a receiving pocket attached to the net on an outer edge portion adjacent to the outer edge in a direction that an opening of the receiving pocket heads toward the inner edge and receiving a top end of the supporting rod portion through the opening.
