Abstract: An oral or nasal endotracheal tube includes a tube part, a first balloon and a second balloon. The tube part extends along a direction with a tube shape and an end portion of the tube part is intubated into trachea. The first balloon extends with passing through the tube part, and expands or contracts a block cuff. The second balloon extends with passing through the tube part, and expands or contracts a guide cuff. The block cuff uniformly expands around the tube part and blocks the trachea after the tube part is intubated into the trachea. The guide cuff ununiformly expands around the tube part and guides the tube part to be intubated into the trachea.

Abstract: A respiratory gating system is disclosed that varies the orientation of a radiation emitting device according to a patient's natural breathing. A breathing respirator is provided that allows the patient's respiration amount to be measured. External markers are adhered to triangulation points around a radiation target region, such as a heart, of the patient. An image diagnosis device images the target region. A computed tomography device reveals movements of the target region caused by the respiration. Triangulations and polynomial approximations are used to estimate the trajectory of the target region in real time. Position coordinates derived from the estimated trajectory are transmitted to the radiation emitting device. The system increases the accuracy and stability of the entire radiation therapy result.

Abstract: Provided is a technique of allowing a dental implant to be stably placed after extraction, to be accurately placed in a tooth extraction socket, and to be stably placed in the tooth extraction socket according to implantation position and angle. A method of manufacturing a scaffold for treatment of a tooth extraction socket and implantation of a dental implant includes receiving dental implantation information of dental CT data which is previously input via a terminal of a manager; manufacturing, by using a three-dimensional (3D) printer, a 3D model comprising alveolar bones and teeth, which are distinguished therebetween, based on a medical image file that is a medical image file (DICOM file) of the dental CT data; performing virtual tooth-extraction by removing, from the manufactured 3D model, a region corresponding to a tooth in a tooth-extraction target area; and manufacturing, by using the 3D printer, a scaffold to be placed in an actual tooth extraction socket according to a shape of a tooth extraction socket that exists in the manufactured 3D model as a result of the virtual tooth-extraction, wherein, when the scaffold is manufactured, image data of the scaffold is amended to allow a guide hole for implanting the dental implant to be formed in the scaffold based on the dental implantation information.

Abstract: A new imaging phantom called a “fusion phantom” enhances the efficiency of performance testing and quality control. The phantom relocates the test elements of a standard MRI phantom, and provides a configuration of inner containers that enables simultaneous performance testing on magnetic resonance imaging and magnetic resonance spectroscopy within a predetermined error range. The fusion phantom is useful for multi-purpose performance testing of magnetic resonance imaging equipment, including correlation analysis, performance testing, system management and the like in the diagnosis field. The fusion phantom enhances efficiency of time and reliability in testing performance of the magnetic resonance imaging equipment, adjusts incorrect position accuracy and improves quality of images.
